  1. Gerrard fuckin shitebag. From 10.50 am this morning when the team announcement filtered through all sense of optimism died. No wingers against the well known problem full back areas of our opponents? Wtf you dimwit shitebag? Either he doesn't know what it takes to win a league title or he's just fuckin hopeless. Half decent euro runs are fine. Useless league tactics and team selection are unforgivable
  2. Don't worry Nicola and Humza will protect us from rioting on the streets
  3. Haha maybe it was just me singing and dancing on my own cause I was blootered
  4. 6 feet two Eyes of blue Big Niko Katic is after you This originated with big Jim Holton in the 70s, when supporting Scotland wasn't something you needed to be ashamed of, and was adapted for a few others. Don't care if he isn't 6' 2" or hasn't got blue eyes. Still a decent chant.
  5. If the story had parodied the scum and their eternal 'somebody else to blame' culture it might have had a chance of raising a smile but instead it became a sheet of bog roll.
  6. I remember a mate who had this on a 45 single decades ago (that's a wee black plastic disk that you place a needle on to play music for those too young to remember). Think they used to sell single songs outside the ground in those days.
  7. As a pop song it's pish (in the opinion of this auld rocker/indie scene guy whose rave days ended well before '03 😊) but good to belt out like an idiot at the football
  8. Think it was played in the stadium in Denmark mate and we just went with it I'm sure after we scored on Thursday there was a mass breakout of this song. I remember jumping about shouting/singing 'welcome to the party'. Fuck knows if there's any other words to it.
  9. Adapt or perish, now as ever, is nature's inexorable imperative Evolution mate, it happens. Like it or not, things change all the time. The most disturbing thing about this is that there are folk who are so set in their ways they would rather bring trouble upon our club rather than give up singing one word.
  10. Not the same thing though, is it? There's one word that the critics focus on and as long as it is sung we will get hammered for it
  11. Maybe many folk are deciding it might be time to change some words no matter if it's euro or domestic games. Times are changing mate and it doesn't need to be doom and gloom. Just move with the times
  12. Bullshit. One of their players said something to Katic which I assume was not very complimentary. That's what kicked it off.
  13. If the board had told us when UEFA initially informed them re the 1st charge then the others wouldn't have happened. They've got to be blamed here. They have to look at last night to see that if they had told us earlier the singing wouldn't have continued at the other 2 games
  14. The board really fucked up by not declaring weeks and weeks ago of the UEFA charge. We now face a possible 2nd charge due to their inability to competently interact with the support. If further action results in additional stadium area closures the board's seats should be the first in line to go.
  15. Ok. Didn't notice it myself and thought this guy made a valid point. No doubt an impartial UEFA observer had his TV up full with a stethoscope planked on the speaker
  16. It's not new but I'll just throw this in.
  17. They tried to make me go to rehab. I said No, No, No Surrender Actually this might be a smart move as in 'we have tried a few initiatives .... etc'
  18. Times change and many things that were acceptable in years gone by are not welcome now. There is pressure to assert a zero tolerance approach to appease the faux offended but times do change and we have to move with them. Some seem to be making the argument that everything we represent as a club and support hinges on our right to sing certain words. That is such a paranoid cop-out. The history and culture of Rangers means much more than singing a few naughty words. Get them changed, leave them out, or don't sing the songs. There are countless other tunes that we enjoy and sing with gusto. I enjoy a good sash bash as much as anyone but if certain phrases are deemed to be causing upset in this age of OTT political correctness then we have to play by the rules. It's human nature to fight against change especially when it challenges a comfortable environment but change can be a good thing. We all want Rangers back winning trophies and competing at a decent level in Euro competitions. Continue singing the same stuff will hinder the club's progress. Dropping a few words from a song is such a small and easy thing to do.
  19. Take a look at previous bronzy loves goat flirtations 😍
