Throw Davies, Balogun, Raskin and McAusland into the team and take a few out of the firing line for a week or two. They’re clearly not up to it based on performances over the last month. And I never want to see Dessers again. Stick Sima up top and Sterling midfield. Fed up sticking with the same formula every week and expecting things to turn out different.

Last few minutes Dundee are throwing themselves into challenges meanwhile Lawrence is pulling his socks up on the edge of the box while we’re chasing a goal. A good few of our players make me feel physically sick when I see them with our strip on.

Not signing Shankland was always going to haunt us this season. Dessers takes one of those chances first half today and we see that game out. Over the years when we’ve played poorly we’ve had a striker who can put a chance away and get us out of jail. This season we’ve had Dessers. I’m just hoping Shankland can still come to the rescue after the split against them but it’s all looking pretty bleak after today

Agree but I’d add Cantwell in for Lawrence too. Offered more on the ball in the short time he was on and much more effective pressing from midfield. Lawrence was a huge part of the problem first half.

Just watched the highlights. Adrenaline still going so can’t sleep…by the way, never mind Goldson making an arse of it, why did Silva duck away from the pass just before the cross that led to their penalty? Unbelievable decision.

I have complaints about Dessers most weekends but not today. Gave his all, link-up was decent and was unlucky at the end.

Sky desperate to make the celtic pen a stonewaller in comparison to ours. Zero comment on the deflection a split second before it hits Goldson’s elbow. Penalty going by the rules but as much as I called him every name under the sun at the time, it’s harsh. This “just head the ball stuff” is pish too. That was clearly his plan before the cross took a nick. There’s no way he can adjust his body in time. Should be said I thought Goldson was howling all game btw.

The starting eleven didn’t look good but I trusted big Phil had a plan. It didn’t look like it. Pressing them high is the only time they’ve looked rattled this season. But Wright and Lawrence were totally ineffective in our “press”. Addressed at half time and the game changed. Needs to stick to that plan against them next time surely? A fit Sima helps but Lawrence can’t be anywhere near it.

They had a wee segment early on post match where they spoke about the Matondo goal for a couple of minutes while Lennon sat there seething probably looking for reasons why it should’ve been disallowed.

The lack of hunger and desire shown right through the team is unforgivable. Tav, Diomande and Goldson having horror shows, Lawrence and Wright anonymous and Silva an absolute greetin faced shitebag. Bad day when you want Barisic to come on against them but we need Sterling further up the pitch. Sima, Cantwell, Matondo…get as many subs on as possible, that first half team needs ripped up. Tactics and press a riot too and thats on Clement. Absolutely shat the bed here.

Dessers needs benched for the run-in starting from Saturday. Need to somehow find a way of playing without him or his inability to take chances will cost us the title. Silva up top.

We need to somehow find a way of playing after the break that involves Dessers sitting on the bench. He’s not a target man, he’s not physical, his link up is poor, his press is shite, he has no pace, he can’t finish, he can’t head the ball. The goals he’s scored other than 2 or 3 have been mis-hits, deflections or straight at the keeper who’s made a cunt of it. 9 times out of 10 against a half decent defence he is completely nullified as a threat and will be pocketed by Carter Vickers against them. No harm to the guy but he is clearly and undeniably miles from the standard required for this run-in.

Game was there for us tonight. Unfortunately Silva trying to do too much on the ball, Dessers anonymous as usual and Matondo came on and hid for 20 mins. Lawrence and Diomande looked out on their feet second half and gave up cheap possession. Crazy set up at our corners didn’t help either. As much as I’m gutted, might be a blessing for the title fight.
