I said in the match thread I couldn't understand the negativity of some posters towards individual players... but more annoyingly Stevie Gerrards tactics and formation. We sit top of a tough EL group. Undefeated in Europe after 10 games.We are in the semi final of the League Cup and only 2 points behind celtc in the league.I feel our players deserve more backing and praise from our support..... not criticism. More importantly, our leader Stevie Gerrard deserves our thanks for restoring our pride in Europe in particular. He is doing a sensational job.

Just as well we scored three goals - so it didn't matter in the end - but it really was a dreadful error by the linesman.

So pleased for the players but especially pleased for Stevie Gerrard. He's still cutting his teeth in Europe and yet we have now played 10 games without defeat this season. That is a wee bit special imho.

Kent was our best player today. We should have played him in place of Lafferty from the start ....if we had , I think we would have got at least a draw.

Katic is far better......... don't think the big guy is good enough to play for the Rangers....... even as a back up. Makes Bates look like Franz Beckenbaur.

Hasn't done enough for me in a Rangers strip so far tbh. Doesn't particularly play like a player with EPL and international experience. Must do more.

Agree with all of this but I'm quite excited at the prospect of 100% fit Rossiter.......... if he can stay clear of injury he can be a really valuable player for our squad this season. Let's hope he's turned the corner and can put his injury troubles behind him.

I've been one of his harshest critics but fair play to the guy.......... he's put in some excellent performances this season. I hope he continues to prove me wrong and goes on to enjoy a brilliant career at the club.

I only hope our players come through unscathed this weekend. Those pitches shouldn't be allowed in the top division of any country.
