Gio would only maybe work if we have money to throw at it, we don’t. We need a big personality to come in and pick these current players off the floor. Gio has disaster written all over it.
Couldn't disagree more mate. GVB is a perfect match for us. A global name like Stevie G and young and ambitious. He also knows what it's all about to represent our magnificent club.
GVB for me all the way.

SunSport understands former Gers hero Giovanni van Bronckhorst would be keen on a return to Ibrox and could bring back ex-Light Blues coach Jan Wouters as his No 2.
Excellent news. Link please mate.

Promising display today. Needs more game time to show what he is capable of.

Any win will do, no more injuries and hopefully more minutes for Kent and Jack.
This. Just win Rangers.

He looks fucking brilliant! Hope we sign him.Seriously.

He was excellent when he came on and really turned the game with his skill and close control. Deservedly MOTM.
Just to agree with an earlier poster - he needs more protection from the referees in this country......that was a straight red all day long.

I'm confident well get the three points. We better cos I'm going to the match

Based solely on the minutes he's had so far, he has looked utterly abysmal.
So far - thank fuck he wasn't a big money signing.
Few of the signs have been good - poor close control, poor shooting, poor positionally, doesn't want to run in behind, isn't slow but not lightening quick either etc.
Of course he has plenty of time to bed in and in the weeks and months to come he may start to show more but I don't think it's unfair to judge how he's looked up to now. What would be unfair would be to keep that judgment and be on his back even if he actually starts to improve loads and start to show he's a player.
Unfair imo. He needs more time to show what he can do imo.

Cracking player ..... possibly our best player since the start of the season.
We absolutely stole him from Charlton We could easily sell him for 8 to 12 million but I'd rather see him play in a Rangers strip than cash in on him for profit.

Superb result for Scotland last night. Hope we qualify.I think we will.
-
Very possibly Thermo.
He has an impressive CV so I wouldn't rule him out if Stevie Gerrard leaves for Liverpool in the next few seasons. He gets us which is a big plus in his favour if he threw his hat in the ring for the job.

I want to know the status of Helander. Is he injured, rested or dropped? Also, where is Barisic?
When you have no outside journalists, the questions are very much in Rangers favour.
Gerrard has it quite easy these days in that regard.
Fair comment mate.
I agree 100% he should be answering those types of questions too.

The questions are so easy to answer for Gerrard. No one is prepared to ask tough questions.
What would you have asked him?

Looks lazy and/or unfit. Needs to up his game bigtime if he wants to make it at our club.

Pre -season was a bit dull for me I am not a big fan of the 11 subs at halftime, but I understand why it happens. But if you look at our per season last year for the games in France we were straight into games with as strong a starting 11 as possible, started well and didn't really slow down from then on.
Yesterday and against Malmo we looked like the team of February / March 2019-20 with no real cohesion and everyone just wanting that extra touch of the ball. Now that could be down to slow distribution from back to front or pish poor movement from our midfield and front men to provide options.
A blind man can see that playing what looks like three holding midfielders is not going to work. Hoping that come Tuesday either Hagi is back or he tweaks the midfield by going to a two of Davis - Lundstram with three of Kent - Aribo - Wright and Alfie up top.
Good post. Agree with all of that.
Thoughts With Gary Stevens.
