I think it would be difficult outwith that Big Apple Bears HQ to get to see games in a bar unless you get talking to a bar owner and can convince him to open up to you. Best bet might be some of the Irish Bars. I'm not sure if they are 24h or not but some of them are open quite late and if the games on at 3/4am they might let you watch it while they snib the doors and do the clean up/cash up. Might not mind you.

Snidey cliquey bastards and a strange vibe. I went in 3-times and each time just thought it was the previous crowd and gave it the benefit of the doubt but was the same each time. I enjoy even the shittest of bars when on holiday but not that place. Literally the ONLY place in 3 trips to New York in 2-years and easily 50+ bars that made me feel that way.

It's just stating the obvious and an article for the sake of it IMO. It's obvious we've improved. The signing policy has been quite good overall. A question marks over a couple but if you've signed 11 players that's a perfectly resonable average as not every signing will work out. I'd prefer it if the RO done an article on the area's we are still lacking and explored some solutions/debate that way.

Hopefully a lot of Rangers fans will travel upto this and give them some support. I'll be there anyway (unless we confirm that Benfica game in Canada it might be tight unless it's the Sunday fixture, the 8th)

Walter Smith for me is an absolute legend and I don't say that lightly when it comes to Rangers but he was far from perfect. When he got it wrong, he got it wrong in spectacular fashion at times - tactics at the end of the Levski Sofia game, AEK Athens, EUROPA League Final, decision making during ten in a row season, Kaunas, Unirea etc and giving the reigns to McCoist was the biggest of the lot considering he witnessed his failings first hand every single time he gave him control of the cup games and had to come down from the stands in the second half and change it.

I don't disagree. We need a winner. I think Pedro would be a cracking coach for us the same way Warburton would be both in lesser capacities with someone like a Walter Smith in charge and deciding on the teams mentality etc.

He's right but (and this sounds mad and a contradiction at the same time) we are only an excellent transfer window away from turning it around. Unless celtic have another season like last season where they don't get beat and only draw about 4-games - then no-one's getting close it doesn't matter if it's Walter Smith's 1992-1993 team or Advcoaat's 1998-2000 team/s.

I still find it baffling how some take more issue with people saying they don't consider him a Rangers fan due to his rant than the substance of his rant in the first place. It's quite telling when it comes to some posters, though. I'm glad these people are in the minority on here.
