  1. Maybe you could help me understand then. In what way anything I said could be considered racist? ...... Cheers
  2. OK...... reading that back it doesn't look great but only point I was making was in response to the guy who said they all looked as if they were going to a funeral........ Morelos looked the worst by some distance to me so there you are. Not my finest hour on here granted but it don't merit the usual bunch of wee fanny's queuing up to put the boot in.
  3. Aye right ye are. Because a bunch of wee pussys disagree with an opinion. Not exactly the first or the last time that's happened on here. Right or wrong I'll live with that.
  4. Maybe because it looks as though it was his da's funeral.
  5. And you're a jizz rag so you win.
  6. I'll decide when sit down.... We clear?....... good.
  7. Well read the thread. It seems I'm not alone in noticing his demeanour is all wrong.
  8. Don't give me you're fishing pish. You are most definitely the idiot if you think all's well there, a fkn blind man can see that. Its one thing being unhappy (as is being widely reported) but showing it in public like that is no use to player or club so like I say..... Have a word Rangers.
  9. Granted a lot of them look as if they'd rather be elsewhere but Morelos?....... Come on now that's no right.
  10. That wee cunt morelos looks like a petulant wee boy being taken somewhere he doesn't want to go......... Have a word Rangers ffs.
  11. I get what you're saying here and it's hard to disagree. We really have seen it all before and it's all sounded every bit as convincing. It's natural then to be cynical and I share your reluctance to let his words alone win you over. I also take take the point a lot of the signings appear to be out with Gerrard's influence. Murphy, Afrield, Mcgregaor, and now Katic all appear to have been identified by the club prior to his arrival. Not going to lie, that's a worry for me too. Only stating the obvious here but when he agreed to join I assumed he surely must have had a pretty cast iron assurance he would be backed to the hilt by this board. Anything other than that for somebody of his intelligence would surely have been far too much of a risk to his reputation and I really can't see him agreeing to anything other than that. I think that's only logical so I'm still optimistic he has a few BIG players of his own to bring in that will compliment those above. For this to work I think is dependent on a few key points. Most importantly though is the obvious. We need a far far better quality of competitor in our Rangers team. Winner's who struggle to accept being beaten and will fight like fuck week in week out to avoid the prospect. This is where I take comfort with Gerrard's appointment. The one thing that's literally oozing out him is determination. He gives me the impression he's desperate to pass on what's inside him and that has to be good for Rangers. You could see it when he was playing, hopefully he demands the same from his players from day one. The mentality at our club has to change instantly as crazy as that sounds but there can be no more mediocrity tolerated here. In this respect Im confident we have the right guy in place.
  12. I catch myself reminiscing way too much with this before anybody gets that in, but I can't help but think its a sad indication of just how starved we are of success.
  13. No slight intended on Gerrard whatsoever but we've heard very similar before and really we've learned very little about him from this. Nor will we until the full time whistle blows up at the sheep. Sure the guy knows how to express himself in front of the media as you would expect. We've had it before and it counts for zilch. Nobody will know better than him the false dawns we've had here, the real job starts and ends on the pitch so I'm taking nothing from that other than the fact he can handle a room ........sorry but I'll wait on consistent results before I start to get excited.
  14. I've mentioned the same in a previous post. It's as much a challenge either turning these shitebags (sorry but that's what they are) around or getting rid, as it is bringing in better quality. Windass is a perfect example of what's wrong at Ibrox. Can Gerrard get inside his head and convert him and his ilk from spice boy bit part player to a player of genuine substance and determination. I've got my doubts and dont envy him the task but that's what he's here for. If they don't shape up rapid both in attitude and professionalism then hunt them to fuck out. There's no point in beating about the bush. Such is the god awful standards that have been allowed to set in at our club its gony take one hell of an effort to progress but Im encouraged in the man's confidence at least.
  15. Let me put it like this. Walter used to say very little before the big games. He was respectful of opposition and used to roll out wee soundbites about being in for a difficult game etc etc. Tell you what though, I used to go to bed on the eve of a big game KNOWING he had our team prepared and ready to meet any challenge the opposition would offer regardless of who we were playing. He was that street wise. Didn't matter about fluke goals, injuries, bad refs, dodgy pitches it was all just hurdles to get over before we took the points. It would take a truely exceptional set of events for his Rangers not to come away with a win. He knew the expectation level of this support and duely delivered again and again and again. Stevie has our 100% backing but he's yet to do it. My worry is this current squad is littered with guys like Windass who clearly still have no idea what being a Rangers player entails. Stevie Gerrard has to either turn them round from DAY ONE or root them out, it's as simple as that. I'm sure he knows that and believes he can deliver otherwise he wouldn't be here but there's no point kidding ourselves it's a huge job for a rookie manager.
  16. And you assume I haven't listened to it how?
  17. Listen nobody can fault him, he chooses his words carefully and he's to be applauded for that. When the talking is over however he has to know the importance of delivering early doors. Sometimes even this shitty wee league can make that very difficult for a Rangers manager finding his feet. Think it's fair comment to say he has the backing of this entire support and I genuinely believe he has a real desire to hit the ground running and that's good because he's going to need that , but there you go with that first fixture as case in point. Up there at the sheep whole world watching, first game as coach or not..... He's got to win..... that's walking the walk no matter how difficult they make it for us he's got to have them ready for it.
  18. "defend the badge with their lives" ?............ Now you're talking my language but time to walk the walk Stevie boy.
  19. 3 more Rangers quality players imo with fire in the belly for the task in hand.
  20. Probably sounds petty to most on here but this is one of the most troubling issues I have with our recent past. The virtual disappearance of our colours in our own fucking city gets right under my skin. Honestly never thought I'd see the day when I'd let the sight of wee boys in taig tops put me up or down but there you go. Just seems everywhere you go that's all you see and the absence of wee bears makes it all the worse. Would give me an enormous lift if this mooted orange top is a smash hit within our numbers and we see a return to making our presence felt in Glasgow and beyond.
  21. Councillor admits Glasgow is 'infested with rats' while whistblower says problem is spiralling out of control Apologies as I know this has probably no place in the bears den but was sent this earlier and thought it very apt.
  22. Alpha male hard as a coffin nail, traditional British values, supports the Rangers....... What's not to like?
  23. "Shines a light" I like that.........like a spotlight?
