  1. Checked our domestic fixtures ,grim few weeks ahead.
  2. That's the boards point of view all the way back to Ally as far as I'm concerned , looking for an easy option needs to change.
  3. He was included in the euro squad so hopefully not too long.
  4. What we need is a manager capable of varying tactics /formations etc. All of our managers ately have been over cautious with a plan A only approach ,our line up has been predictable for years now , flexible approach is needed. The low block employed against us is well known but the intransigent approach adopted has held us back ,hopefully we get a manager that is tactically astute .
  5. Yes it's shit timing but we can't rely on him as has been seen lately , may add to the clamour for a change of shape . As had been said before the majority of the back 4 can be seen as serial losers, start of the clear out if it happens.
  6. I can't defend him,as I said earlier, he should have retired at national level before now to concentrate on his club career ,he didn't so I think less of him.
  7. Thought he was great on his day, if he plays or trains with the national team I'm done defending him.
  8. They should ,there'd be no reprisals from the fan base
  9. I don't see him being sacked which is why I started by saying I will be gutted.i see it going on a bit longer till the toxicity in the support forces the boards hand, if Beale has anything about him he's got that time , hope for the best but expect the worst.
  10. I will be gutted if he's not punted by Monday lunchtime, he's not got it ,it's obviously not going to work so get it over with sooner rather than later.
  11. Personally can't listen to him anymore ,as they say though actions should speak louder than words and he likes to speak a lot.
  12. Bottom line , as per the thread title , he needs to inspire confidence, we haven't seen much signs of tactical astuteneness etc , he's been backed its his team now , something needs to click right now or call it , personally I've no confidence in Beale but blame the board for constantly gambling on the managerial appointments.
  13. Yes ,agree re Gio i actually thought he was going to be good continuity wise.
  14. I think the actual problem lies with the board as they have gambled on 'project' managerial appointments, all the way back to McCoist taking over from Walter Smith.
  15. Seen that move result in a goal against too many times.
  16. My overriding worry about Beale is like the last 4/5 managers is a reluctance to change ideals /tactics etc . All managers have a risk in appointment, but our board have gambled on rookie /fledgling managers too much . Hopefully he turns out an astute appointment but if he doesn't work out the board have to be scrutinised as to their roles in managerial selection.
  17. Just can't see it happening for him, got his own players now but shape, tactics, belief are one dimensional, hope for the best but expect the worst.
  18. No faith in Beale now ,latest in a long line of gambles by the board managerially, this'll most likely go the same way .
  19. He's the latest in a long line of 'project' managers ie cheap and available, we have long needed a professional, experienced manager.
  20. Defensive mistake as per and toothless in attack after an expensive overhaul ,not good enough.
  21. Neves may be loaned back to Newcastle, seemingly.
