To be fair at Lakeside ( 20 odd years ago mind ) most players were plastered. Martin Adams used to drink shit loads of John Smith's extra smooth play the afternoon, commentate later and then go to the private bar for the players and get properly on it😀

As a player there is no one more talented in the league, so to take it back to the original post it's an absolute no-brainer to re-sign him.

Re signing him is like getting him on a free transfer.
