Some of the players mentioned in this thread were poor signings with hindsight, but at the time I don't remember many complaints about signing players like Rothen, Guivarc'h etc. For the most bizarre signings, it's pretty much take your pick from any of McCoist's apart from the few successes. How anyone would think signing players like Cribari or Faure the lower leagues in Scotland was a good idea, i'll never know.

He deserved all the criticism he got last season as he was shocking. This season was a clean slate n he started the season well. We played better with him in the team, then he got dropped and became a bit part player. He's played well under warburton and some of the criticism he gets is harsh imo.

Papac is being talked up to be so under-rated that he is now becoming over-rated in my opinion. He wasn't as good as some make out.

I agree. Too much being made of it. We should of won the game but didnt - we'll move on. I like the 60 min subs, it freshens games up (for the better according to stats) n makes sure we rotate game time around the squad

I'm sure warburton will have the squad as big as we need it to be to challenge on all fronts next season

Would have liked to have seen him get more game time here, but as he was rarely featuring then an extended loan seems like the best idea. Hopefully then he'll kick on next season - he's def got the potential

Yeah I agree the past management didn't help matters, n I think he coulda been a player under warburton. The injury at the start of the season was terrible timing when it looked like he might get a run in the side but I think that sums up his time at us. No point keeping a player we can never put on the park, best for all parties that he moves on.

Was a good player in europe but not as good as some make out. Needless in domestic games and didnt do too much. He wasn't much better than dailly yet he got slated by a lot of fans.
