  1. Yeah that's says more about our strikers than that he's some sort of asset if you ask me. He is smart at times and has a deft touch but spends most of the games looking lost. Do you think he's a good player? I just don't see it at all. Time will tell but I'd be looking for way better. Compare him to even the likes of Naismith. It's not even a contest for me.
  2. Yeah that's what I've noticed over the years. Too many people trying to make a mint out of interest in our club. Some have tried the lot with blogs, merchandise, books, sites and all the rest of it. Always surprised people are willing to pay for such stuff, especially fake gear. Wish their was some way of the club claiming a % as then it would be at least partly positive for the club.
  3. Yeah I thought we handled going down to ten men well because it's much the same as having Pena playing most of the time. He has some touches and passes but overall I think he's a terrible signing. Just looks lethargic and hopeless. Like a stoned Fellaini with no heading ability. Harsh but that's all I see. I was actually thinking we may have been scammed with him
  4. Some good touches today but overall he's a passenger who just drifts around doing very little. Can't see him making it with us.
  5. Wee guy nearly in tears at the end
  6. Yeah I'm not dissing the guy. He seems like a decent enough bloke and no doubt it costs time, energy, and money to run a site. I just prefer them to use advertising and donations if needed to cover costs. Some of them definitely do it as an earner for themselves. Like with that Bill McMurdo or books and fake merchandise. Suppose it's up to the individual to decide what's a rip off and what's legit but I'm just always wary of supporters asking for cash because for Rangers stuff.
  7. Just paper talk I'm thinking. It'll be down to McInnes and he gives little away to the press. Maybe Ferguson or our board have not learned their lesson right enough but if it happens then I'll be happy enough. Think a number three just needs to be enthusiastic and willing to learn. The good thing with it being our own is that we get a shot of them later if they become really good in their own right. Will also be good because it will put a stop to him writing tub thumping nonsense in the papers
  8. Decent review. Shame he's asking people to pay for stuff. Always puts me off when guys want to make out of supporting Rangers.
  9. Yeah I seen a bit of that. Guy was one of the best ever in my opinion. Complete master of a football. Made it look so easy to control games and made almost impossible passes seem normal. As you say a God. Sort of player the game misses badly when they retire. Loved watching him.
  10. Great player but no chance was he better than Zidane
  11. A good example of a guy you know is an arsehole by sight alone. The type you would enjoy seeing repeatedly scudded in the mush with one of them big wooden headed golf clubs. Thank fuck we never signed that wanker.
  12. Was the same. Worth coming into the thread for. Got to love a daft mutt like that man.
  13. Well done mate. Got to feel for the poor fuckers living on the streets at any time but especially right now. Is it on the grass you sleep? Surprised if so as they moan like fuck if you go on it when doing the stadium tour.
  14. See Murty's face before that begins. Talk about the cat that got the cream
  15. He proved me wrong with playing Windass up front and got a good all round performance out of the team. So he deserves some credit but he's never experienced or hardened enough to cope with all the flak and media nonsense that comes with being the Rangers manager. That's before you even factor in that he is also a novice in terms of game experience when it comes to being a manager. Hopefully he'll be back in his real job soon so that we can start preparing and planning properly for the future again.
  16. It's simple in my opinion when you take out all the smoke and mirrors. Whyte came in to put us into administration. The idea that he could buy the club using season book cash without ticketus informing Murray is ludicrous as is the idea that he didn't know Whyte was a relative nobody and a dodgy failed businessman. He knew he had no money. Murray just wanted out of the hot seat before the EBT case took us into deep waters. All the rest is really just the ado. The above is the crucial points. We were fucked from the moment Murray's businesses got into big trouble and he lost most of his worth because he had put us in debt and used EBTs to the extent he did. He sold to Whyte knowing what he would do and no doubt Whyte knew that Murray also knew what was going on even if it wasn't said in absolute terms.
  17. True mate. No doubt he'll make out there is a secret meeting every full moon in the bowels of Ibrox were humans wear horses heads and sacrifice Catholics. It's actually pathetic and disturbing to think I'm only half joking. No doubt to get that lot to buy it he will play into all their wildest fantasy's in some way. Something about Catholics and referees is guaranteed. Easy money to be made from such idiotic people. That Phil muppet has been cashing in on their grandpa's yarns for years now. Even rustled up a book about how Scotland mistreated it's poor Irish Immigrants. The cunts lap it up yet I've never seen someone being mistreated for having Irish heritage in all my years in Glasgow. I mean how would people even know. Yet the ones who do still get shit like blacks and Asians don't run around shouting about being oppressed. I honestly despair at how embarrassing and dumb they are. If it wasn't for that football club you wouldn't hear about such historical stuff. Every mass immigration causes problems and some hostility yet these cunts are allowed to wallow in things that happened so long ago simply because a football club was established and run along ethnic and religious lines. All Grandpa's tales of woe should be shot down wherever they are mentioned now but our media and politicians seem to play along for cash and votes. Talk of this nonsense only exists to this day because of that manky club. Only thing that could come close to being the equal of that lot would be if Muslims founded a club and sung songs about ISIS whilst going on about being opressed but they wouldn't embarrass themselves as they have to much self respect. There is no where with a mob like that and it's fucked up the country's football and even the perception of the social history of the place. Nothing unusual about immigrants having a hard time in a new land. It's always been part of the migrant experience. Theirs has been much easier than most and I say that as someone who had a distant ancestor from what is now the Republic of Ireland. Embarrassing that our country still allows people to peddle all this divisive nonsense. It only really exists today because of that fucking football club yet somehow they have even managed to blame Rangers for it. Time such nonsense was ended but I doubt it can be whilst that club exists. They even sell it as the 'celtic story' ffs. Whyte will scrape the same old barrel and the deluded halfwits and ones who like to believe in it all because it reminds them of their daft old Grandpa's will roll up and pay him. No doubt he will stick the boot into us again just for more cash. Little prick needs booted fuck out of and told to disappear. Laws need changed as well so that people can't cash in on their crimes in this way.
  18. This was always going to happen. Wee prick will end up with more cash than he started out with when he committed fraud to take over the club.
  19. Probably the best footballing Rangers of my lifetime. We were an Anelka away from being possible and perhaps even probable winners of the tournament.
  20. Trolling seems such a wasteful and worthless pastime signifying nothing but an empty unfulfilled life. Don't feed them.
  21. I like the bias but he does miss alsorts and call a lot of things wrong. Even as a supporter I sometimes think how can you be that biased but I think it's a mixture of that and just bad judgement I wouldn't change him though as I think it's the lads down the boozer feel that makes Rangers TV. Would miss it if it was the same as Sky.
  22. Was thinking that about the youths. Murty always talks well and has a terrific positive attitude. A good employee. Must get the youngsters used to a proper professional footballing environment for that level where the whole set up is positive and well planned with instruction to match. We must have a good set up under him. Noticed how he's focused on making the players give their own opinion and to take more personal responsibility. Maybe erodes a bit under strict managers like Pedro.
  23. Better not be the club he gave the big bucks to for Pena
  24. Do you know him or are you saying that because he's one of us? I'm not convinced because of the state we've been in and the difficulty in managing us right now. Hope your right though as he's one of the ones I'd be happy enough with.
  25. McIness, Davies, or Moyes are the only ones who seem realistic to me. Would rather someone else but none on the lists I've seen are good enough or would come. Moyes was with them so that also rules him out. Fuck knows what the board do here. McInnes would be the safe option but I'm not even sure he'd take the job either. This don't fill me with optimism. The likely candidates are all pretty similar and uninspiring when you consider the job in hand. We've seen their ceilings. I'd be tempted to throw Davies in to the end of the season and see who's available then. He's no worse than the rest of the realistic options.
