Seriously though we need to keep the current form going in to the Old Firm and ramp up the pressure. They have been an implosion waiting to happen this year but our early season form (the Beale effect) kept them at bay. We just need to listen to the manager, take one game at a time and realise we are in a marathon so keep the perspective if a slip comes along.

Apparently there was arguments and abuse to the board/Manger before they game was over, they will create a toxic environment for thier own players I'd we can just put enough pressure on them.

I think this draw will be important when this groups over. Had we lost we may have needed to won our two home games and take somthing over in Spain but now, if we do it right and when our home games it's a fight for group winners out there, huge result if you look at it from that perspective.

Doesn't look like the eligibility criteria has been confirmed yet, chances are it will only be coefficient points earned in the champions league that will count, means they can still have most big teams there from top 5 nations. Too good to be true

We are going to have to get a decent coefficient score this year, and that is far more likely to happen in the Europa than the CL, as we will get scudded.

Dropping down to the Europa and having a decent run would stand us with a good chance of making it to the club world cup.

Would however not be surprised if we make a pittance even if we do make it, with FIFA stuffing most of the cash into their own pockets.

A win next week would be the greatest achievement from a Scottish club .Fair enough the EC had more prestige but probably until the mid 70s it wasn’t taken anywhere as serious as it is today .Then we have the the way the Europa league is now .When the group stages start even though there are 32 teams there are over 40 potential winners .You just don’t know who will be dropping in after the CL group stages .

The Europa was revamped this year to so that there where more "big" teams in it and the lesser teams go to the conference.
