  1. I am anti Nationalist mate. I am British and Scottish, but the NI issue is one that is completely different.
  2. Yes I am well aware of the history of the Ulster Scots, and I am also well aware of the amount of Rangers fans who come over from NI, but as I said, I feel as though we in the West of Scotland have been subjected to the ongoing fight between NI Unionists and Nationalists for long enough. I accept completely it is a vital issue for those involved, but it is definitely past it's sell by date for me. I know there are many facets to the subject, and both sides will probably spend another 100 years pointing the finger at each other, but I find it all a bit sad now.
  3. Mate, enough with the low brow accusations. I couldn't give a shit what religion someone is, I am 100% atheist. If I have offended you, accept my humble apologies! :-/
  4. Aye, I am the fool for not giving a shit about some cunt on a horse from almost 200 years before Rangers were even formed! lol
  5. I am not saying anyone should do anything. If people want to embrace that kind of stuff, that is their decision.
  6. I don't know what PUL means mate, but I do understand a lot of Rangers fans in Scotland are descended from Ulster Unionist immigrants, who along with the tims, have brought their fight to our shore. I suppose if I was from that background I would have a similar stance, but I'm not, so I personally have no interest in NI or Ireland and it's fights, and find it all a bit tiring.
  7. Ooft, shots fired! lol Mate, I 100% disagree with everything to do with any paramilitary group from the 1970's onward.
  8. What Vettel did wasn't particularly dangerous at that speed, you are right, but it was petulance of the highest order which could easily have damaged Hamilton's car, resulting in him being out of the race, which in the event of even Vettel being disqualified, would have been no good to Hamilton if he was not in the race. It was ridiculous and plain as day to see it was his own fault.
  9. I am not sure if he would have taken him out later, as the moment had passed in a sense, but yes, the Germans do indeed have previous! I can still remember Schumacher blatantly cheating Hill out of the 94 World Championship. The rest is history!
  10. Hamilton is completely within his rights to do whatever the fuck he pleases, as lead car. Vettel was 100% to blame, and I think he should and will get thrown out of the race completely when they look at this. No points and everyone else should move up one place. It was a ridiculous thing to do, and as someone mentioned at the time, (can't remember who)it is a terrible example to all the millions of young fans who idolise and copy these champions of F1.
  11. Joking apart, that is for numbskulls and twats. Anyone who defines their support of Rangers by some shite from 300 years ago is no different to any tim who defines their support of the scum by association with the IRA. I have absolutely no time for either. They drag everyone down with them with their shite poison.
  12. I have never had a season ticket, but have always had Rangers in my heart. Not only that, but in my whole life, I have probably only been to about 100 games. That said, I fully intend to go to a lot of games this coming season. I must admit that life has got int he way of being a football fan for me, and it became way down my list of priorities, but I have the time to go again, and although I tried to let football (and in particular, Rangers/Celtic)go, I have been drawn back in by social media. You just can't get away from it. I have many friends and acquaintances who are tims, and we have shown a mutual respect and kept a safe distance when discussing Old Firm stuff over the years! ie, we know the boundaries with each other, but latterly all I see is shite on fb slagging Rangers and 'liking' all conceivable Celtic groups imaginable, and it has gradually fired me up more and more to the point I feel more of a fan now than I have ever done in the last 30 years! So I am looking forward to reacquainting myself with Ibrox (Mecca) this year!
  13. Really awful news to hear of a young gifted athlete dying so young. Tbh, I never liked him as a player, thought he was a real dirty cunt, but the kind I suppose you like to have on your side rather than against you. Very sad.
  14. He was a great player in his time, and unfortunately our team at the time, which was pretty good also, was usually on the receiving end of him and his mates putting us to the sword. We were so good, we got to 2 Euro finals in 5 years, and they buggers still had our number at home! RIP Big man, I will always think fondly of him booting that German up the ass.
  15. I must admit, as disappointed as I am by our position, I'm not surprised. In truth, I was surprised we were in clear 2nd place in the first place. Obviously there is a long way to go this season, but I would be surprised if we got anywhere near Aberdeen now. My own view was that 4th was a fair expectation level and I still believe that. Too many people got carried away with our promotion. It took us 2 years to get out the Championship, why with the same core players some people expected so much is beyond me. I won't be happy with 3rd or 4th, but I won't be distraught either. It's a long journey back and we are still on the upward curve, even if there has been a downward blip!
  16. I'd like to take a chance with any of our former top players who haven't yet managed, but have their coaching badges etc. Someone like Craig Moore, or even Billy Dodds. Top managers are not always those with experience, why not give someone a chance? Why the fuck not, they can't do much worse and will be eager to give it their all for such an opportunity!
  17. I have no problem when a player gets abuse for playing poorly when he has been seen to play well in the past, or he is perceived as a non-trier, but if he is just shit, then that is not a good enough reason to abuse him.
  18. Sorry to not be up to scratch on certain stuff, but why are they referred to as Savco?
  19. He isn't a bad human being as such, but he is one bitter bitter cunt. We will always hate you you bitter cunt! Helicopter Sunday will taint his whole life
  20. She isn't terrible, but not inspiring either. Couple of catchy toons but still staid and predictable and effectively over!
  21. No, there are no fans apart from ex players who have played at the highest level whose opinion (in terms of tactics) is worth 2 cents. You may be right that the players are keeping schtum about disharmony within the dressing room, but I think it would have escaped by now and be no longer a secret. For me he still has the dressing room.
  22. All I know is that he is stuck with a limited budget, and he has been very unlucky with the Barton Krank signings. Tactics, I'd love to have a pop, but I am well aware there isn't a single fan who knows more about the game than the guys in the dugout! We may think we know what we are talking about, but for me, if he was as clueless as some would have you believe, he would have lost the dressing room, but he hasn't. Do you honestly think guys like Hill and Miller and Wallace would still support him if he appeared to be floundering, or bereft of ideas? Of course they wouldn't.. they would have indicated a long time ago!
  23. Yes, i accept that, but what i don't accept is that it is the manager's fault. He has dragged a team from the Championship, to be in the mix for 2nd place. I don't care what anyone says, but I honestly didn't think we would finish above 4th. It is so ludicrous that with a Championship team plus a few add-ons that we should expect much more, given the budget! I think expectations were set too high by too many fans and I don't think it does anyone in the team any favours to be on the team's back, or the manager's. They are not good enough to perform any higher than they are performing. Changing the manager will not change that.
