The manager has made mistakes with his team selections lately, no point pretending otherwise. But he could have selected whoever and set the team up any formation and they would still have blown it. Sometime, sooner or later. Everyone mustve known deep down it would happen.
He got the team into a position where the prize was there for them but then the pressure started to build and they dealt with that pressure the same way they always do. They shat it. Thats down to their character and there is absolutely fuck all any manager alive can do to change a weak willed player into a winner. In every sport thats what sets winners apart and unfortunately we have very few if any.

Quite right, enjoy his honesty. Speaks volumes what is essentially a kid from a youth team down South in his first season is openly calling out the senior players around him as basically bottle merchants.

Full time last night him, Butland and Souttar looked absolutely gutted. The rest looked like another game for them.

Well spoken. Stating the fucking obvious here but there's clearly something happening behind the scenes if Sterling has no idea why it's gone tits up so fast.

Thats the truth. I honestly believe its a psychological thing with them. They are completely out their comfort zone when pressure is on and they cant and dont want to deal with it. I cant even dislike them for it, its the way they are and you cant be what youre not. Who you can blame are previous managers and recruitment heads who havent had the gumption to root them out and get players with the proper mentality in.

I don't think it's that. I genuinely believe that this is as good as they can give us. I dont think this is a conscious thing. They simply don't have whatever someone needs within them to be a winner. In short, they don't have the mentality required to play for Rangers or any club who expect to win silverware with any regularity.

I've been thinking about past teams who would have been more than good enough and embraced the situation they were in, these idiots we've got playing for us haven't got it in them, they've well and truly proven that on multiple occasions now.

It’s changed because the players actually had a chance of winning something, thought fuck that it’s the end of the season these are usually glorified friendlies for us and are making sure the split means nothing for 3 of the last 4 seasons because it suits them. That’s what’s changed. 
 
There isn’t a chance from Hearts, Hibs or even Benfica away literally a month ago the manager has went ye know what lads, let’s pass about safely in wee triangles, punt the ball aimlessly and not string two passes together. They players are finished and the fans need to let them know it. 

Tbf to him, unless he drops tav and goldson (which he cant/wont) then the OF and to an extent county he's a bit blameless for 
No one expects their captain to sell a goal in 30secs then both captain and vice captain to contribute to the 2nd goal after half an hour
Sure we were absolutely howling first half of OF game but given we were on the back foot because our captain shat himself again, we have no idea how his team lineup etc would play out normally
Same for county, ahead at HT and probablu deserved to be, if only just, settle into second half, control the game and tempo, dictate how the game will no, for that you need leaders and once again his two supposed leaders were found wanting 
Could the lineups have been better, probably, but we havent seen them in training all week or if they are fully fit, i certainly dont think a 3 time title winning manager will pick and understrength side at this stage of the season just for fun 

He knows, but he’s hardly gonna say they’re a bunch of losers when there’s still a minuscule chance we win the league
