As much as you don't want them getting another transfer windfall, it's inevitable with Jota at this point. Replacing him brings uncertainty, disrupts their attack etc. They might not get their primary targets etc etc. We received big money for Bassey but didn't exactly use it well.

I just find it strange that everyone agrees this squad is full of weak, bang average players, most of whom are leaving in the summer, yet Beale is expected to somehow magically turn the same players into a firing team that can beat Celtic.
Surely he needs the chance to fix the personnel issue first, then if we are still losing OF games he has nowhere to hide?

It’s not ruining the atmosphere at all, that’s one complete myth about the whole thing. There’s been good atmospheres since it happened and there’s been shite ones, the exact same way it was before it happened 
Its also realistically not the best atmosphere in world football even when it’s at its best. There’s European derbies and South American derbies that are much much louder and more intimidating

Gio did hleventually have to go tbh. This season's European results, the downturn in league results and a few of the players downing tools contributed to this. 
It doesn't mean though that we can't appreciate that he brought us within a penalty shootout of winning the Europa League, and winning the Scottish cup in the short time he was here. He does have tactical nous which showed in the Europa League, but showed far too much respect to Scottish opposition. 
He also wasn't helped by the lack of investment in the playing squad considering the record player sales we had.
