Don’t get me wrong our second half performance was more like it, but we didn’t dominate anything. Kent got into his groove and proved his worth but they still had most of the ball and still created more chances. So many things went wrong imo, Kent is the only positive to come from yesterday.

Lucky to have been able to play in this one. The points lost when he’s either been sent off or banned has absolutely been his fault and also been the difference between 13pts in second or in a proper title scrap. It’s absolute stone cold irrefutably the case that he has cost us this season. How many top strikers miss as many games due to suspension as Morelos? Or Minutes lost due to a red card? His scoring rate is above a goal every two games... take the games he’s been sent off or missed due to suspension and apply his scoring rate to them.

Agree. Just looking at league goals in isolation some average players have had as good a record as Morelos, some better. Thumb got 31 league goals in 2016 season, Boyce 23 in 2017, Boydy 18 for Killie last season. I truly believe any half decent striker in our side could get a similar return. I’d would imagine maybe even score against them. Morelos no doubt is a huge talent. But I think in order to command a fee as high as what’s been discussed he needs a good season with far less controversy. Put them to the sword aswell

The only reason I think he has to stay is I think he’s potentially a £20m striker. But right now? Questionable big game form, questionable big game temperament have hamstrung his value. If we get 30 plus goals next season, better temperament goals against the mhanks and goals on a euro run he will go for the money he’s worth. we ain’t going to get nearly enough for him this summer

A lot of his misdemeanours get overlooked. The 50% or that that get punished during the game or otherwise tends to get supported on here. Sad fact is his discipline has been a major factor in our domestic failures this season.
