Hope this isn’t the UEFA cup final season all over again. As exciting and lucrative as Europe is, we need the league this season. 

Every single league game is a must win including the tarrier games. Even if we draw even one of the tarrier games then we are going to struggle to recoup the goal difference.
The Europa League and Scottish Cup games are a nice to have but not essential.
At least several of our key players are finally coming into decent form all at once… Tav, Balogun, Bassey, Jack, Kent & Alfie.
If Kamara, Goldson, Roofe, Helander & Ramsey can join them that would be great (today looked promising for Roofe & Ramsey). If Goldson could cut out this stupid mistakes that would be grand.
Lets get the same momentum and motivation the players showed last season, no more half arsed displays we’ve had enough of them this season.

If VAR  was here we'd be about 6 points clear just now. Fucking Spl Officials turn a blind eye or think they're VAR when they feel like it.

Thought Ramsey looked good today, faded a bit in the second but his ball retention and movement off the ball all looked good. Hopefully more time on the pitch will see him play a part in the run in.

What a fucking result this is tonight against a decent opponent. 
The tie obviously isn't done yet but if we complete this tie we can't play down what a huge huge achievement this would be for the club. Since '72 this would become our 4th European Quarter Final after the European Cup QFs in '79 & '88 and, obviously, 2008.
In the last 30 years this would only be the 4th time a Scottish club has made the quarter final stage in Europe.
I know it's hard to avoid some of the difficulties domestically, though a double still very much in our hands, but this doesn't just happen very much to us!

The game was a disgrace up in Pittoddrie with so many broons fouls and antics to get Kent sent off also Hayes double elbow on Borna should've resulted on 2nd yellow plus a  harsh penalty giving to them.
Officiating been worse than amateur this season,  Its costing us dearly but so is half hearted performances.

This forum is in crisis. So fucking negative in every post. Cunts in the European thread want us to play a b team on Thursday. 

Only goal I can remember from a corner was the one Morelos scored against Dortmund but it was a goal bound header from Aribo and Morelos tapped it in. 
Tavs corners and crosses against Aberdeen have been atrocious  each corner landed in the centre of the box behind our players Aberdeen could get rid of the ball and we had to mop up and recycle an attack which came to nothing, Tavs crosses are mostly over hit,Pish just now really is.

The way I see it, it is more than 1 thing not happening for us.
We are in transition already. Gio is wanting a certain way of playing but this take time as most of the players have had 2/3 years of SGs way of playing, so we see this sporadic turning in of a good performance when everyone is singing from the same hymn sheet but no consistence as we change from one approach to another. Changing how a group go about thier business so it is seamless take a lot of time and for everyone to buy in to it, and I don't think everyone is buying in to it, so it breaks down. Maybe it would be better to have a rebuild at the start of the season, new faces, new mindset, new approach, a blank piece of paper so to speak but we did not have that.
We have players that are not in form or showing patchy form. We have players who are thinking about a summer move, are they in Gio's plans, do then feel they want to be in England or somewhere else and distracted. Do they feel they have done thier thing at Rangers by winning the league last year and it is time to move on?
The squad has a lot of not Rangers standard players in it, so he relying on a group within the group to play in games and some of these are not in form.
Is his style of football suited to Scottish Football or is he having to learn and adapt on the job. His style appears to be suited to European Football but Scottish Football is a very different thing. He also has to contend with poor refs and some bad luck( this is football after all) as well as some players not putting in a performance at match time.
These are some of the things I think may be going on, but I have no "in the know" knowledge is any of this is fact. Just standing on the outside looking in but my gut feeling is some of these things are coming in to play and we are in transition now.
If we get rid of Gio the same process will begin again with another manager and we will look like a club that is sack happy. What manager of quality wants to a club that is sack happy?
Come the summer we need a rebuid and a fresh start some how.
