I always found him to be fairly impartial and one of the better ones that have presented our football programmes in the past 30 years....................

If you're gonna slag off a team that stepped up in the second half against decent European opposition (who sat top of the group before Ibrox) to now top their European group and then tip them to get beat at the weekend before pumping the team that were top, expect a backlash from their fans you imbecile.
We should be a lot closer to the top of the league than we are but have had a tougher set of opening fixtures than any of the other Top6 from last season; that's our own fault. However, outside the mhanks, NONE of the other clubs in this league have done anything in Europe in the years following 2012, period. Albeit after just 2 games, we sit top of our group so give us some credit please. If you don't you will be called out for it so if you give it, be prepared to take it back in this social media world we live in. If you can't take it, don't then play the "woe is me" card as no one gives a toss, more so when you have a conviction against you proving you are no living saint.

I do wonder how much longer Spence, English etc can get away with that sort of nonsense now that the BBC in Manchester are paying attention. Neil Cameron has been going down the pro-Corbyn, rant about Trump line with his twitter, but he's not employed by the BBC, so fair enough; BBC employees shouldn't really be passing comment on politics or religion unless that's the area they're employed to report on - and even then, it should be neutral.

Ive noticed recently with Spence - almost every other tweet has now something to do with Catholics or independence - yet he is employed as a Scottish sports broadcaster typically by the BBC - and appears to get round it by saying he is a freelancer. its a bit sureal

If you can't handle abuse on social media - especially as someone in the public eye - then you should probably avoid it, and avoid trying to wind up a large section of your employers' target demographic. Even morons like Sutton and Hartson, who seem to block most who dare criticise them, don't try to play the "they're all just bigots" card, yet absolute messes like Spence, Delahunt and Collymore do.

In fairness, twitter is chock full of absolute rockets. However looking at some various high profile people on it, there is a way to play the game, and Jim hasn't found it.

Sooo he tips Hearts to beat unbeaten Rangers at Ibrox this season after claiming he wasn’t impressed with Rangers against Rapid Vienna.
That was always going to go tits up so he gets heat on social media, makes up some lies about it being religious and sectarian, goes of twitter and probably hits the bottle.
Sounds about right for the pish stained tarrier mess

Ssshhh. Don't be spreading shit like that about FFS.
"Decent financial position"? The detractors in here and the bloggers will be all over it. Mr King presiding over wealth and prosperity? We'll be having none of that thankyou very much.

Is it not more juvenile on your part, as a grown adult, to not just leave it be if you thought he was a child? Still, if your party have their way you could soon report such behaviour to his named person.

I’m not in the slightlest bit worried. He had surgery in June and since he signed the talk was how he basically had to do his pre-season with us and then get match sharp.
Kent and Candeias have both been excillent lately. Let them keep doing that.
Then when inevitably one gets injured/suspended/tired/loses form we will effectively have a new signing fit and ready to hit the ground running.
Smart management by Gerrard instead of rushing him back!

If he regrets the press conference and wants to come back, surely he'd at least have apologised to us.
Wouldn't want him back anyway but he's happy to boot us when we're down but expects us to accept him back without a word? Nah.

"Set up"? Neither Naismith or Whittaker are so simple as to not know that they were adults and could have said "no" to the press conference. They both did it, willingly, to alert any and all clubs interested in them that they were available for nothing, and to preemptively hurt any attempt by Rangers to claim compensation. They were in no way victims of a big bad celtic supporter - that's an excuse to absolve them of responsibility for their actions.
Really hope some English Championship team signs him next summer to put an end to the "we should sign Naismith" stuff once and for all.

I have never rated him as a player. Aside from his propensity to injury, I feel he never had the tools required to make him a great striker/footballer. I was genuinely surprised when he had that very good spell at everton, didn't think he had that in him to be honest. He annoyed me yesterday. I thought every time the game was held up for something he was strutting about trying to look the hard man. Almost like he was poofing about because he knew the cameras would be on him at that point. Would much prefer lafferty than him. Hearts are welcome to the little squirt!

So we can’t criticise a player without the whipping boy rubbish getting thrown about.
Worral looks really average at times and got the run around from that big donkey, one which needed an outstanding save by McGregor to save his blushes.
If we are thinking of buying him he has to improve by a long way.

Not disagreeing but we have seen all 3 of them now play enough games and for me Worral is third choice.

Judas rat bastard who was neither "just badly advised" nor remorseful - he's a mercenary cunt who thinks we're daft enough to welcome him back and pay him over £20K per week for the privelege. (And going by the love for him on Follow Follow, for example, it sadly seems a fair number of fans would welcome him back.)

Candeias isn't the best winger out there but you just can't not love him. Player of the season last year and already in the last 2 games he's singlehandedly won us 2 goals, not from a stunning piece of skill (although the back heel was nice) but from shear determination and work ethic, and that's all you can ask for. People on here will slate anyone who maybe just aren't good enough but I will never dislike any player/manager who gives it 110% every match
