backup got a reaction from 16BlueSherbert90 in The club requires a captain in the traditional mould.
As far back as I can remember we had men of stature playing for The Rangers, none more so than our illustrious captains all eleven of them, not any more.
Today's lot lack inspiration, mettle and any understanding of what it is to be a Rangers player and the honour, plus dare I say it the expectations and traditions that come with that honour.
Our manager was a great captain, I hope he can address this problem with the same class and ferocity that he himself displayed as a Captain who led by example.

It is all in our own hands now, can only throw it away.

Anyone who makes money from Rangers at a time when the club needs it most without a contract or percentage going to the club should be chased from the stadium the club should be doing more to stop this profiteering.

backup reacted to eejay the dj in Formal Complaint from Rangers re Collum
Our club has let Colum off the hook it seems
The scum went after McDONALD with the help of the beggar infested media , which was no worse and got him sacked .
If Colum costs us a massive game further down the road . We have only ourselves to blame with the apathy and apologetic shite that's mainly came from SG

Collum is a gash biased referee, no need for the in bold, simple fact will do....

Jacquie sent me this text, I know she won't mind me sharing it with everyone, brought a tear to my een.
Also directed her to Govan's post about the brick, a wonderful gesture, the funny thing about the school across the road is that the snpeee cooncil tried to keep us out, Tam will be forever laughing at them from within..?
"Apart from a small amount I've taken to scatter in the woods where he used to take the dogs beside my house that's him home. Scattered him on both sides of Bellahouston at the top of the hill and down near the maze so he could see Ibrox. The rest are on a patch of grass right outside his Primary School but so he can see the stadium too. I scattered a really tiny amount beside the Peter McCloy wall as that's where his RM brick is going. If anyone you know knows exactly where it goes I'd love to know as we intend to come down every year around this time to visit where we've been today"

Suzanne's moved on.
But it's already in hand. We'll get a photo once it's up, and I've already got the certificate here to send on with the photo.

Very shortly this morning Tam's earthly remains will be scattered to the winds at various places of his choice, his many friends will remember him fondly for the rest of time.
RIP Tam, was my good fortune that our paths crossed those years ago, gone but never will be forgotten.

If you call Suzanne at the Club, she'll go take a pic of the brick and those bricks around it so it's easier to spot, and send it to whomever by email.
I did that when I bought the one for my daughter a couple of years ago.

Never tried, Tam changed his mind again? and opted for the old school across the road, where he played fitba as a lad, was wanting the fifty pitches too, but alas they are no more, other parts of kinning park and plantation are on the agenda.
Jacquie and her brother are doing it now, I thought it was better that they were left in private to do it, a very personal thing.
Jacquie has a login here, she may drop in to say thanks to everyone, and i do mean everyone.
Tam had a great saying "At the end of the day we are all still Rangers supporters, despite any perceived differences we may have" never truer words spoken by the gentle giant.
