No problem with any former player forming part of the backroom team as long as they are qualified and have no real links/friendships with any of the current squad. We can't have anyone being sentimental and someone staying in the team who doesn't deserve their place just because someone has the ear of the gaffer. Not saying Clement would have the wool pulled over his eyes like that but still wouldn't take the chance. I personally think Neil McCann or similar could offer a lot in a coaching role.
