  1. If Tav goes in the summer does anyone think we are likely to see Flanagan become the starting RB with Goldson Katic as the CB pairing with Barasic/Halliday at LB? My only concern would be, like others have commented above is that Flanagan despite being defensively sound doesn't offer what the likes of Tav does going forward.
  2. Difference in mentality from him and the current gaffer. Don't see Gerrard complaining when we were singing about Baku. Gerrard is a born winner, Warburton simply isn't
  3. For a club like cowdenbeath this tie means a hell of a lot. Yes they may have made an arse of things for the original date but atleast they are seeking advice and help to ensure it doesn't happen again. Hopefully an easy advance to the next round for us, injury free and both parties leave somewhat pleased with how Wednesday plays out.
  4. Atleast the steward who turns up week in week out with his football boots on finally got some use out of them! 😂
  5. I always thought we needed 7 points from our 3 home games if we were to qualify. That's still possible but tonight I feel was our chance to really make our Mark on the group. Albeit, still unbeaten which is no mean feat and has to be considered a huge positive
  6. Anyone have an idea when we find out if we have got a ticket for the semi or not?
  7. It was simply amazing tonight. Even when we conceded the crowd was still urging the players on which is something we have missed. After the 2nd goal the crowd 100% made the difference for us to keep pushing for a 3rd. Best night I've had at ibrox thats for sure. Well done to all involved
  8. After a quick Google search, I think that was out first win away from home in Europe since 2008 quarter finals. That's far too long for a club like ours. The performance maybe wasn't great but we cant forget the steps being made and the improvement the club is seeing after what we have been through, and long may it continue!
  9. If that was the remit he was given then it just shows how little ambition there is behind closed doors also. Grim to say the least
  10. As much as promoting youth players who turn into top players is something we all want in order to get that result it needs to be done right. Nothing wrong with sacrificing MOH or Halliday for a youth every week and if the game has been put to bed get them on the park and give them minutes in a game where the pressure isn't too much. Sure there was a game this season Atayaki was on the bench and we were 2 or 3 up after 60 minutes. To me that's the perfect time to rest a first team player and play the young lad. Pretty sure Murty made no changes till the 85th where he brought Herrera on if my memory is correct. To me that's criminal.
  11. On ability yeah I would say he's an improvement. Would I want him back? Absolutely not. I actually quite rate the lad at hearts who I think is out of contract at the end of the season, but rumour is he's going to Leeds. Wouldn't mind if we tried to sign him before they do.
  12. Murty just said he isn't going to bother questioning the players over there performance today. You have to be joking. They should be getting torn into. Gutless performance from the players led by a gutless imposter of a manager
  13. I can't decide if Windass being injured is a good thing or a bad thing. On his day he could have there defenders struggling but on another day we are effectively a man down. If he's out then I can only see Miller getting that position, especially after scoring on the weekend. Not sure who I would have in the holding midfielder role but whoever it is has to dictate the play. Too many Old Firms recently we have allowed them to dictate and we cannot afford to do that this weekend.
  14. Can't think of any easy wins, but there's been a few where I've thought we were going to get pumped and somehow we have walked away with bragging rights. To be honest I think in recent times in general we have always been the ones to enter the Old Firm game less confidently than that lot, despite winning the majority of the games. But growing up watching the like of Ricksen stick it to Thompson every old firm was quality. Oh to have the players of that quality back in a Rangers jersey.
  15. I know it's slightly off topic, but was it not Prso who hand balled it in a European game from a corner when he should have stuck his head on it? I was too young at the time to remember if it was him or not. Just remember by dad and uncle going absolutely nuts at the tv in anger.
