  1. The poster above who said this story has a lot more mileage yet is spot on. A cover up from the despicable English FA that will come back to bite them on the arse, unless they are willing to pay everyone off. Which they may just have to consider, seeing as today another player has come out and backed up Sone's sister's version of events. She has said she accepts she will never play for her country again but she had to speak out. As for Sampson, he is a wee creep with an identity crisis who has assembled an army of dead-behind-the-eyes cyborg lesbian chavettes to do his bidding.
  2. Hamburg finally get a win. Winger Nicolai Muller celebrates scoring the winner against Augsburg and twists his knees ligaments. Daft bastard is now out for seven months. http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/40993069
  3. At least one of these would be a big seller up here. Click it when you think you know which one it is.
  4. It all smells like a bit of a rip-off, mate. If this 'new' kit is indeed official and they try and flog it at 55 or 60 quid when it's a tenner template, it may just come back to bite them on the arse. It's old SD stock with a crest printed on; no more, no less. They must think the fans are daft. Probably expecting another windfall like last time the fans laid siege to the megastore. The difference is, the good will has somewhat dissipated since then.
  5. And Hugo Boss made the uniforms. The Nazis may have had no moral compass but what a great fashion sense.
  6. Umbro was swallowed up by Nike if I remember correctly. Puma have made many great kits over the years and still make a good job of almost all of the African national teams.
  7. Umbro and Puma are two of the most famous sportswear names in football history. Only Adidas and Nike can claim to have a similar illustrious history of kit making. And Adidas and Puma came from the same German family of the Dassler brothers. It's not the brand that is the problem, it's the blatant use of an old standard template. This smells of the board and Ashley trying to fleece the fans and line their pockets on the cheap.
  8. The new away will make the Portuguese contingent feel more at home.
  9. Picking a MOTM for this game is like selecting which shade of jobby to smear your walls with.
  10. Caixinha is an absolute dud. But it's cool because he banned green boots and says 'WATP' in his post-match interviews.
  11. O'Halloran, Waghorn, Garner and McKay all on the scoresheet today. Brutal.
