“I don’t know if the belief is there”
Laudrupsleftfoot replied to Davy Vandenbroucke's topic in Jimmy Bell's Kitroom
No it’s not Instantly shit the moment he started mentioning Wallace and McCullough. -
Been an ‘unreal player for us’ says the poster above you. Don’t think it’s unreasonable to feel sorry for someone who has been an unreal player and great servant for losing an opportunity to finish his career or captaincy with a treble.

Not sure lack of athleticism is something you can throw at him.

Sterling’s 24, people talk about him like he’s 20 or 21. -
^ you bet.

Welcome to Rangers, Philippe Clement!
Laudrupsleftfoot replied to Davy Vandenbroucke's topic in Jimmy Bell's Kitroom
Clement has said he prefers to take responsibility rather than bring in a specialist coach. -
Yeah completely agree. On Clement’s previous, lost 5 out of last 7 at Monaco last season and apparently similar poor end of season runs even when winning titles.

So maybe overcooking a squad has had a role in four or five shit end of season results for Clement.

It was utterly bizarre. The type of disjointed performance you typically only see under a caretaker when a manager’s just been sacked, or under a manager where the writing’s on the wall. Shape, tactics, tempo, style of play, fitness, combinations between players all massively off it and Clement could do fuck all about it. -
We have nobody who are "Rangers men"

Right, and agreed on investment being needed or miracle recruitment. The latter probably more likely sadly. Didn’t answer the question though. -

Wow. And people go on about the standards having disappeared. I’m not even necessarily disagreeing just think it’s wild if that’s now the consensus amongst the support compared to what the norm would be. -

You’ve argued for sticking with Clement irrespective of what happens in the rest of this season, and are now talking about trying to have ‘a chance to win another title in the next few years’. To be clear here, are you saying Clement could go two years without the league and still be in the job? -

Pretty bizarre run he’s on. -

I’m backing him for now but for a bit of balance end of season collapses are not new - lost 5 of his last 7 at Monaco last season costing them the CL place. -
He has been poor overall and not sure what his best position is. Would still keep him if the option’s there as I think he’ll get better.
