  1. Well there's your problem. The AI learns to deal with your tactics by the 2nd half of the season. It's not about players no longer performing or your tactics going to shit, just the computer knowing how to counter your team. I think it's around 13-15 games in you start noticing most teams using similar tactics to your own.
  2. Still one of my favourite goals ever! Zidane was for me, the pinnacle of what a midfielder should be.
  3. Fantastic news! Can't think of a better partnership we've had down the right in recent memory that topples what Candeias & Tav have been producing all season, they compliment each other perfectly.
  4. I really like Murty, the guy has done reasonably well given how he was forced into the role, and he's clearly got a ton of potential but he's not fit to be the manager we need atm. I'd hate to lose him when he's replaced as he was doing great in his previous role but being in charge of the biggest club in Scotland will get him a few offers afterwards. We can't afford to carry on having faith in someone with practically no experience. We aren't a club to cut your teeth at, that should've been evident with McCoist. Even if he went on to win every game (including the cup) until summer, I still think we should be looking for a stronger candidate to take us forward.
  5. Wait, Windass was still around when we lost? Huh, figured he went home after scoring.
  6. I imagine it could be fairly easy to punt both him and Pena back to Mexico but we're kidding ourselves if we think we'll get even half back from what we spent on them, better than nothing though.
  7. He plays like a guy that looks down on the league. He expected to come up against diddy players and boss it, have an easy season and stroll into the Portugal squad for the World Cup. All he's done is prove he's an absolute has-been. He's been shown up by two players 10+ years his junior and with no where near the experience he possesses, time and time again. I'll be glad to see him gone come summer.
  8. McCrorie in for Cardoso, Dorrans for Goss, Cummings for Morelos, and an earlier sub for Windass and we'd take them imo. If we've got both McCrorie and Dorrans back for the cup game and Murty learns to make a fucking sub that'll genuinely alter a game we wouldn't be worrying about this apparent "big gap".
  9. I may have lost both the Scottish and League cups, and been knocked out the Champions League (still in the Europa) but this is oh so satisfying... Still another 6 games to go, too. Here's hoping we can produce similar tomorrow!
  10. Tav or Candeias - think we'll punish 'em down the right tomorrow.
  11. It's bloody hilarious that, according to them, we were apparently "too poor" to sign players in January so opted for loans yet we're here increasing wages and planning future fees for loanees without breaking a fucking sweat. Brenda and his short bus boys will be running scared next season.
  12. Shit, didn't see this coming at all. Like others have said, this'll definitely command a much higher transfer fee should clubs come sniffing. Great to have our best players on long-term contracts, committing their future to the club. Things are certainly looking bright!
  13. Maybe in the EPL but he's in his prime(ish) for the Scottish game, much like Dorrans.
  14. Said similar in a different thread, Bates is fast becoming the Weir/Hill type of player we need at the back. Partnered with the Bougherra-esque McCrorie and we have two CBs Scottish clubs should fear coming up against in the near future.
  15. Yeah, definitely. Especially with how poor the selection is currently, shouldn't be anything above £8 per month, imo. If they had games to rent 9-12 months after initial release then the price could be justified but right now I think it's something like 2 years, maybe?
  16. Check out Omar Abdulrahman, little guy is absolutely fantastic if you can manage to get him. Somehow signed him in my Rangers save halfway through my first season after losing Candeias to injury. He can play AML/C/R.
  17. Didn't think much of Bates a while back but he's definitely changed that opinion, seems to be smarter and a hell of a lot more confident/competent than his senior CBs, imo. With the way they're progressing I'd love to see a future partnership at the back of Bates and McCrorie. The former being the no-nonsense defender that takes care of anything slipping through, McCrorie (the future captain) the one to pick out passes from the back and having the balls/smarts to drift forward a little and take out anyone looming. Like Weir & Bougherra, or whatever.
  18. Both obviously but I'd definitely be content with a league win and close fought loss in the final, just as long as we fuck them and their "absolute certainty" of a treble over. Edit: Didn't actually read the OP, ah well...
  19. You seem a little obsessed with folk being virgins...
  20. This. The brand really doesn't matter as long as they're willing to fork out more than anyone else, assuming we have more than the one offer. If it's a worry over being embarrassed to wear a certain make then that's a little sad, more so the fact you're an adult wearing football kits, aha. As long as it looks good and bares the crest, that's all that truly matters.
  21. I figured as much but seeing as they're a couple of favourite colours of mine I had to whip it up. I couldn't really care less about the brand tbh, as long as it looked good. Do think it'd be cool for us to be the club to spearhead a possible resurgence in sportswear/football kits for Admiral though.
  22. HQ Had time in between working on a portfolio, figured I'd give you something to look at with these. Sorry about the Admiral, just used whatever to make it look more complete, y'know?
  23. Love this! A little annoyed I didn't think of it myself, heh. I imagine it'd look pretty nice in white with red & blue piping.
  24. Murphy hadn't played for quite a while before now either, he was complete shit the first few games but look at him now. The guy just needs a few games/goals under his belt.
  25. It's about fucking time too! I'm sick of selling our players at "realistic" prices for a quick cash grab when it's the norm to overprice every bloody player these days. Alan Hutton would have been at least a £16m sale in todays market.
