I have said before Young Stephen Kelly has been the best player in the reserves for the last two years I can’t believe he wasn’t given a run out in our 1st team friendlies I agree not a flashy as Dapo or McPake but a technically gifted player who can control a game of football and obviously score a cracking free kick .

I have watched the reserves for the last two years this year Mcpake, Palmer and Kelly have been really good. Kelly has been the best player over the last two years IMO. He needs to be given a chance but will probs go on loan because we have so many 1st team players. But the danger is these boys go on loan and do well and other teams cherry pick them for peanuts.

I was at the game and have to agree with Elfidelo even though QP gave gers no space Stephen Kelly still looked very composed under pressure and his passing is excellent.

Gers very good in 1st hall Stephen Kelly 10 was excellent but stopped giving him the ball in 2nd half

Man Utd were technically good all over the park and we lack that a wee bit. IMO Stevie Kelly was our best player good goal, assist for Wilson and great touch and passing. We defended well as their strikers were fast and skilful. But probs had to many strikers on in the 2nd half and lost the midfield.
