100% the right decision to play Balogun. Freshened things up and did well.
Midfield balance better with Diomande. Lundstrum still doesn’t look at his best but did well for the second goal and looks better alongside an actual CM.
Cantwell very good.
Tav not getting forward as much but sets up the first and has a great goal line clearance and a clean sheet.
Can’t afford Sima to be injured. Silva and McCausland won’t do it for us

Yep there defence isn’t good at all. What they don’t have usually is a midfield that allow teams to run right through it which what happened against RC and Dundee for us. We lost everything in the middle of the park they games.

Folk basically don’t have much love for Goldson because of things he’s said or done off the park.
Get’s the blame for whoever is having a mare next to him.
He’s far better than Souttar, although I also think he absolutely needed dropped after recent performances. 

So Tav slips when the initial mistake is made by Souttar but it’s “Tav’s blunder nearly cost us big time” (which never actually happened, as they didn’t get a shot at Butland)
No praise for his block when Souttar fucked it in the 2nd half, which cleared out a potential opportunity?
No praise for his work in getting the ball to Cantwell for the opening goal when he could have stopped for a free kick but continued to fight for the ball?
The only big mistake he made was a poor clearance at about 80 odd minutes that eventually led to Oda shot at Butland but there was some pretty pish defending all round at that point that I put down to team tiredness rather than highlight one individual.
He wasn’t brilliant but certainly wasn’t poor yesterday, he had a solid game with the rest of the team.

It may be the case he’s not ‘done’ but - we have a heavy schedule, he plays all the time, he’s not getting any younger and his game time needs managing.
Maybe we need someone who can be groomed (correct sense of the word) to take over, maybe playing the last 20 of matches, or coming in for a start one game in 3 or 4.
But Tav has 2 years on his contract.
Unlikely to get a decent move in the UK, unless some Saudi club pops up, I’d say he’s ours for 2 years and we have to manage him to make the most of it.

I wouldn’t play Lawrence anywhere 

He’s not very good, but if Sima’s injured it’s him that should be starting on the left

I genuinely can’t remember the 2nd half blunder.
He was integral to the opening goal and made a great clearance when Souttar fucked it at 1-0, thought he was solid without being spectacular.

Proud of him for dropping Goldson today and playing Diomande instead of Lawrence from the start. Hope he knows im proud

The way he takes a pass in and then turns into space everytime ans drives forward, id love to see what he can do further up the pitch with 2 guys like sterling sitting behind him

Just hope it's something that doesn't require weeks out. We can't go into big games without him

I dunno tbh. I like Shankland but i think Miovski's movement is good, he is physical and plays the lone striker well.
I do think Shankland is probably a better player in terms of technical ability. 
Neither are Duk though, that's for sure.

No doubt about it for me. I reckon he is the best in our league, if we could somehow convince aberdeen to do business then its a no brainer. Wouldnt be cheap though.

We have missed Diomande over the last couple games. He's able to take the ball in tight spaces and move it on with either foot. 
Balogun excellent. Sterling did well but wasted at LB. 
The rest pretty average but a clean sheet and into the final so we'll take it!
Not sure why Hearts like to play with Shankland coming so deep to collect the ball

Getting into final is the most important thing and we've done that. We were never going to be perfect after the last week.
Hopefully Sima is okay as his goals will be vital on this run in.
Good to keep a clean sheet. I see it this way with our attacking options if we defend well and keep clean sheets then the reliance on them becomes even less as we dont need 3/4+ goals. It gives us a real chance.

100%. Think folk really overestimate how easy it is to sign 7-8 starters on a small budget.
We spent 15 million on 8 transfers in the Summer. 3 are good enough to start.
I can’t see us getting rid of Tav, Goldson and Lundstrum for nothing and trying to replace them on top of the positions that already need strengthened.
We let Kent go and then have watched Wright and Silva combine on the wings for 2 g+a in 32 matches. Instead of the 10-15 Kent would have got which would see us comfortably top of the league.
There’s players to move on like Jack, Roofe, Lawrence, Barasic, Dowell, Wright etc. who contribute nothing now.
But I think Clement will view it that if he can supplement our best players with 4-5 quality young and athletic players then that’s the best shot of winning the league.
Not getting rid of 2 players that made team of the season and trying to sign 7-8.
Or at least it would be a big gamble.

The tweet I seen about his stats with every club he’s been at come the final few games of the season is fucking eye opening and worrying. It’s not even a one off it’s a trend, I don’t know why it seems to happen everywhere he’s been
