Surely we can play, King or Davies at LB 
Sure both have played in fullback at some point 
Sterling into the middle,  we are missing so many second balls in there.
Even the commentary team are praising the opposition more than the shite we are serving up.

Between departures, recruitment and a full summer under Clement, we will be a very different team next season.

The lack of awareness shown by the midfield in covering for full backs pushing forward has cost us.
The current 4-2-3-1 might need to switch to a traditional 4-4-2 with the wider midfielders realising the importance of their defensive duties too.
Used to be Jack and Kamara but, these days, a middle four of Lundstram, Sterling, Cantwell and Diomande supporting Sima and Dessers might work?
We’ve moaned about width but we don’t have a single quality wide player these days and, even if we did, we rarely seem to win headers in the box anyway.
Flat four across the middle and two up top has to be worth a try imo.

I think Raskin was brought in to be his successor but, for a variety of reasons, that hasn’t worked out.
Raskin has plenty of critics on here but I still think that a proper close season under Clement will make a huge difference.
I think Clement’s patience has run out with Lundstram, Dowell, Jack etc and the squad as a whole will get significantly younger next season too.

Matondo has to start on the bench. Never seen him make an impact when starting. Ditto Roofe. And Yilmaz still unavailable.
We would all like to send a message by dropping a few but we just don’t have the options.

At our best, Jack and Kamara understood that part of their responsibility was to automatically cover for Tavernier and Barisic.
Now we seem to have lost the threat the fullbacks gave us while exposing ourselves to greater threat - worst of both worlds.
When did we last either fullback hit the byeline?

He’s great when you’re ahead and looking to control possession but, when you’re trailing and the clock is going double speed, this fannying about between him, Goldson, Souttar and, to a lesser extent, Butland and Tavernier, drives me fucking crazy.
Hate to say it but he’s a poor man’s Calum McGregor.
