  1. Thistle could and should have put us out the cup by halftime at the weekend What a lot of shite ffs - how can you be out of the cup at half time?? By your logic we're out the cup as we were 1-0 down at half time? They had two decent shots that brought decent (but straightforward and expected) saves from Greegs and were awarded a ridiculous penalty
  2. Under MB only Davies (once fit and getting a run with Goldson) and Tillman have any real contribution Sands is poor and barely played, Souttar has (unsurprisingly) been injured as have Ridvan and Lawrence. Colak and Matondo have been injured most of the time too I suppose the great news is that Gio signed two absolute world superstars in Davies and Tillman who have won 12/13 and were a late equaliser short of a perfect record all on their own and despite being lumbered with 9 diddies not contributing
  3. He went for it against them last time and lost 4-3
  4. Very true When your manager's pre match presser tells everyone we can't compete (Ajax) it can't do much for the morale and confidence
  5. Their fitness is a bit of a myth tbh, there was a reason they requested (and got) a midseason change to 5 subs last year (should never have happened midseason) - they were and still are regularly blowing out of their arses at 70 mins In the last 2 OF last season we came off the back of 120 minutes of high pressure, high effort European games while they had lots of rest and we ran them off the park beyond 70 min at the piggery and Hampden Gio deciding to forget about fitness training last summer in order to perfect the horseshoe is one of the maddest decisions ever
  6. McGregor (41) Tav (31) Goldson (30) Davies (27) Borna (30) Lundstram (28) Raskin (21) Tillman (20) Cantwell (24) Kent (26) Morelos (26) Av = 27.63 Hart (35) Johnston (24) Vickers (25) Starfelt (27) Taylor (25) McGregor (29) Hatate (25) Mooy (32) Abada (21) Kyogo (28) Jota (23) Av = 26.72 Less than a year - if you take the keepers out as your talking about running its 26.3 v 25.9 You could argue for Jack/Kamara instead of Lundstram or Sakala instead of Cantwell but it wouldn't make a great difference Equally they might go O'Reilly instead of Mooy (highly unlikely) or Maeda instead of Abada (highly likely) Even if we had our oldest possible outfield of Tav (31) Goldson (30) Helander (29) Borna (30) Jack (30) Davis (38) Arfield (32) Roofe (30) Colak (29) Lawrence (29) the gap would only be 4.1
  7. Their current best 11 v our current best eleven is nothing like 5 years younger, 1 or 2 max
  8. The way Kent (always a hard worker too) and Tillman closed down Hetate and McGregor at Ibrox is massively overlooked.
  9. Wee Fashion would be banging his missus while reading her passages from his bible
  10. It wasn't even a foul and the ref never saw ffs One of the worst bookings I've ever seen
  11. If bookings are getting dished out for shit like that there would be matches abandoned every week for 7 players being on the field
  12. I'm assuming you had the same view a Father Clancy who was facing the other way?
  13. Is Tom Lawrence being transformed and coming back as Ianis Hagi?
  14. Auld Rolf said yesterday that if there was a simple explanation someone would have given it. Several qualified people have explained it simply quoting the IFAB rules. Rolf (who never questions the officials btw) calls this "mental gymnastics" and 5 days after the event 90% of the moon howlers are still banging on about the "penalty" not being awarded THIS IS 100% ABOUT THE FUTURE AND CONTINUING TO PUT MAXIMUM PRESSURE ON OFFICIALS There is very little between us and them and he knows it, they've had more favourable decisions last season and this than unfavourable. They are nett beneficiaries from refereeing decisions since Rolf arrived but still play the victim. The 9 point lead flatters them even at a time when we have been way below par. Rolf knows this Players are coming back, we will add some new blood, we have a more aggressive style of play and we are re-establishing an identity on the pitch that is a million miles away from what Gio subjected us to. Rolf knows this We will get fitter and stronger, we will drop points along the way and the 9 points will probably be too much to claw back but we can match and and pass them again and need to re-set and consolidate this season. Rolf knows this They've done well but have had a decent share of decisions and fortune. Rolf knows this Rolf doesn't like pressure............... importantly Beale knows this and is clever enough to subtly apply pressure
  15. I'm referring to me being a fan for over 50 years and my personal opinion For me last season was way more exciting that 2008
  16. Glad it didn't, they gave me the most exciting 6 weeks I can remember as a Rangers fan for over 50 years
  17. Does nobody feel just a tiny bit of sympathy for the sheep fans? Very harsh night especially at this time of year Nobody? Oh well fuck the cunts then The best thing is that they'll be as gutted as any Frenchman was on Sunday, both having lost their respective World Cup Finals Delicious
  18. I'll take another another 21 of these 3-2 wins if it wins us the league My heart might struggle with that mind you
  19. The sheep took passive football to a new level today, barely a tackle made all day and sat off them from start to finish You can rest assured they'll be flying into tackles like man possessed on Tuesday
  20. Agree Not sure we should pay anything for Sands as, even on a free, he'd eat up a decent wage and I struggle to see where he fits in Tillman at £4,5m is a no brainer, even at £6m he'd be a decent shout
