Anyone saying our player getting kicked in the back of his leg is a foul to the tarriers is a fucking idiot.  That simple.

Had it stood, it could have done much more than paper over the cracks. It could have been the catalyst to set us off on a really good run, and knock their confidence.

True and it does my head in
For the Cantwell penalty we did nothing to influence the situation they would have been all over the ref, sowing the seed with the VAR officials and grabbing the ball to prepare for a penalty while the player gets treatment.

    Of course it matters ffs
    It's a 3 point and +2 goal advantage they shouldn't have
If we end the season 3 points and a goal behind or closer then it will cost us 56 and automatic entry to the most lucrative CL ever.
    Matters fuck all though?

Why the fuck we, or any other team for that matter, question a decision that went for us??
Do you expect the tarriers to be writing to the SFA today seeking clarification on why Desser's goal was chalked off and Cantwell never got a penalty?
When Des Roach and Dermott Gallacher are calling it out and Lennon, Sutton and Hartson are saying they got away with one that tells the story.
The fact that there's so many different views and most are saying the goal should have stood proves that it was NEVER a clear and obvious mistake

Des Roach is an ex ref who disagrees (he's also a rabid tarrier)
Madden (apparently a Rangers man) thinks it's a foul technically
    That's 2 refs, 2 different opinions
I just don't see how anyone can call it "a clear and obvious mistake"
That the same VAR official decided not to have a view when Maeda clattered Cantwell and was nowhere near the ball further irks - especially when it was more clear and obvious

I'm not, I'm agreeing we're miles off it
Lets not disguise the fact that we were on the end of another huge call behind not playing well

Yet defenders do it every single time to shepherd balls out of play and its always a foul when the attacker ends up contacting them?
Get it fucking chased - its a con to deny us a stuck on goal.

9 games in 29 days including 4 CL qualifiers and an OF was always going to be a challenging month
Bedding in 8/9 new players and trying to gel them added to that
The number of fans who have written off most of our new guys after 8 games is mental
The window's closed now, the manager isn't getting sacked and the best thing we can do is back what we have and support them 100%
Let's get into these bastards tomorrow

Loads of reasons to hope we win tomorrow but also to shut up the constant whining on here if only for a few days.

    Highly unlikely
Zagreb are 3-1 up going to Sparta Prague and Ajax won 4-1 away to Ludogarets
If both go through we would be pot 2

Lammers was the first of the new guys to show early promise in the pre-season games and then fell off a cliff when the season started. The pace and physicality of the Scottish game takes time to adjust to and deal with. If you can get over this hurdle (some can't) then quality will shine through - but first you need to adapt to the environment.
Sima, I thought, had his best minutes for us on Saturday and Matondo looks like a different player to the one that struggled last season. These two are both only 22yo and have a major asset - pace. Like many wingers another key requirement is confidence and if they find that then we could have a couple of standouts on our hands
Dessers and Danilo have shown small flashes but not nearly enough so far. They have the talent if they can settle and adapt.
On top of the 9 new guys, Raskin and Cantwell guys like Souttar, Lawrence, Matondo, Roofe and even Ridvan are pretty much new signings too in the context of last season v this.
Only Tav, Goldson, Borna, Lundstram and Jack have good experience of playing for Rangers with Wright and Davies well out of the picture and hopefully offloaded this week which would mean one or possibly two more new guys to settle in.
This re-build has been massive and really needs the one thing a Rangers manager doesn't get - time
For me beating the tarriers this week is bigger than the PSV outcome (I understand the money 100%) as winning the league this season is a must for me

He’s definitely under pressure, as expected but more than he would have expected to be given that horror show and result. But calling for his head 1 game into a new season with an almost entirely new team of which several key players were missing is bizarre at best. Its fuckin embarrassing.

There's another 2 Asian slots up for grabs
The winner if this season's Asian Champions League - decent chance it could be a Saudi team given this summer's spending
Best 4 year ranking club - no idea how that looks tbh
