the cry was no got a reaction from Gascoigne8 in Best Rangers bet you have won
After Braga away booked for my son and I
Return flights to Faro - £140 each (£14 cancellation fee Opodo Prime)
Taxi for 8 from Faro to Seville £90pp (free cancellation)
Airbnb in Seville for 2 nights for 8 (became 11 - couches and an airbed) £120pp (free cancellation until 5 days before)
Got 4 tickets from UEFA ballot Tier 1 £130 and a free MyGers
On day of semi stuck £200 on us to qualify at 9/2 and won £1,100
After paying for drinks meals and transfers in UK the whole trip cost less than £150 for the two of us
Best 6 weeks ever, shame about the result

the cry was no reacted to superallysbears in G51 - New Ibrox Sports Bar Opening Early 2024
Definitely been a change in thinking around the place lately and it's all things that make sense, I know in the recent past they might not had the same money to kick these projects off so it can only benefit our club in the long run, I hope these new savvy business ideas continue and more capacity at the stadium would be the cherry on top.

the cry was no reacted to BuffaloUSAGers in Europe 23/24
Ajax still has to qualify. Presuming they do, they and Zagreb would be in Pot 1 ahead of us along with the six who have already qualified with coefficients above 54.
-
the cry was no got a reaction from Smile in Europe 23/24
Qualifiers count toward the country coefficient
There's no points for teams unless you're eliminated and then you get 2 points or something
Team points start from group stages

the cry was no reacted to Brubear in FIFA Club World Cup
That was my point. If you are a fan of one of the 12 top ranked UEFA teams you will think it is unfair you are not going. Could benefit us of course. FIFA have influenced the selection process of each of the continent federations as they want a cross section of countries involved. This is similar to the nations WC whers they restrict the number of teams from Europe and Skuth America to ensure glibal involvement.

No, you get 2 points for a win and 1 for a draw in all 3 competitions
There is a 4 point bonus for qualifying for the CL but realistically the best we could expect is 3/4 points from our pot 4 opponent (we'd want to avoid Newcastle and Union Berlin)
We could get lucky with pot 1 (Feyenoord or Benfica?) and there's options in pot 2 we might get points off (Dortmund, Liepzig, Porto?)
Lucky draw - Feyenoord, Liepzig, weakest qualifier
Knowing our luck - PSG, Real Madrid, Newcastle

Brugge being in the Conference League isn't good news
We either need to get third in CL and drop to the Europa or drop to Europa by not qualifying for CL to try to stay ahead

the cry was no reacted to GersInCanada in Park has resigned
Criticism of Robertson and Wilson I get as many are unhappy with their job performance.
Park did his job and did it well. Off the park we are back to breaking even while in his time we won 55, a Scottish Cup and reached a European final on the park.
He passes on to his successor a much more solid company. He deserves our heartfelt thanks.

Also the chairman that lead us to 55 and a European final.
A guy who's millions invested meant we could actually function properly.

the cry was no got a reaction from graeme_4 in The constant media pressure on VAR and referees
In other news, since VAR we have been awarded 7 penalties
Only two by the refs and 5 via VAR some of which were blatant
So we would be 5 penalties down and they would have conceded 6 less penalties in less than 6 months that includes a month off for the World Cup
Masons though

the cry was no got a reaction from graeme_4 in The constant media pressure on VAR and referees
Pre VAR they had conceded 0
Since VAR they've conceded 7 of which only one (ours) was awarded by the ref
Thats 6 penalties they would have gotten away without VAR
