Hopefully the final result doesn’t mask the utter fucking shit show of a first half. Serious questions need asked as to what happened. Tav specifically was the worst I’ve ever seen. Massive result, and all is well, but we need to sort out this mental block that sees us shit the bed every time out against them.

For me the biggest thing is starting with a team that is able to press them high up the park, not sure how we do that effectively with 2 deep lying midfielders. Need to disrupt them in their own half, not invite them into ours. We setup quite similarly against them each time and results as of late have been abysmal. Need something or someone to shake this up on them.

Under postecoglu they would consistently suffocate teams early and have the game wrapped up by 60’. Time to return the favour. Don’t give them a chance to breathe.

Probably in the minority but this is it for me as well. Need players who are comfortable with the ball at their feet and who can make things happen. Dessers does a decent job of holding it up, and can cause issues, I just feel Silva opens up a lot more for us in attack and does a better job of pressing. Trust the manager to get it right with whoever starts. Any eleven we field will be capable of winning, as always it’ll come down to who wants it more.

We can’t be afraid to open it up. Any time a decent team gets in their face and creates pressure, they collapse. We see it domestically and in Europe. Yet we still consistently sit back and let them dictate. They’re the fourth best team we’ve played this year yet we treat them like Real Madrid. No respect from the off and bring it to them. Much better teams have come to Ibrox and left with nothing, they’re next.

I think we’ve actually done a decent job in midfield against them, the differences have been small moments where we shut off and they capitalize. We’ve needed three or four chances to score, they’ve needed one. There isn’t a position on the park we can’t compete with them in, this isn’t about neutralizing them, this isn’t about them at all. Take our chances and we will win. Fuck about and waste chances, and we’ve seen what can happen.
