Couple of young compliant “ yes “ people

All Rangers problems have gone .These 2 cape crusaders have saved the day with “My Gers”
I’m glad I spoke with that Greg .As now I can see ,what I was so disillusioned with ,while speaking on the phone with him

    “it’s definitely not a cash grab though “ 🤔

That Webinar was an absolute car crash with the "SLO"  and the marketing girl. Absolutely awful.  If she is a  "senior" exec I'd dread to think the standard of the junior ones!!!

I take it the Everyone Anyone shite extends to employing people who are a bit special to make it feel inclusive??!

    Fuck me.

I would as well tbh. As long as it didn't end up looking like some plasticy, ugly shite ground outside and it looked good. Looks great inside and fine outside just now, but in an ideal world complete redevelopment of 3 stands would be great.

You'd need a spare £100 odd million though.

Yep - if money was no object, tearing down the three 70's stands would be high on my priority list.

But as we do have financial constraints, then I just hope the club can carry out whatever upgrades they can and that 'project 2022' genuinely delivers something special that the fans can all be proud of.

That's what we need to find out.  Say it generates approx 8,000 more seats dong both corners , at £350 a season ticket that's and extra £2.8m per season, 4 seasons alone it will be paid for and we will start to see a return from doing it.

Would absolutely love the corners filled in.  They are currently a waste of space and an eyesore.  And, for me, our stadium is unfinished until the corners are done properly.

In saying all that, in an ideal world and with no money restrictions, I'd knock all three stands down and build again.

not worried about hearts away on sunday they have no forwards with injuries and no goals in last 5 games  as llong as we match their effort we will win

They always raise their game at their place v us mate, no matter what their current form is. But, yes, I get what you are saying. We should beat them but I don't expect a smooth ride.

Like most, voted yes but doubt the ‘family stand’ is the most sensible of options

The 'Family Stand' - why the hell do we need that emblazoned on the roof - is a bit of a misnomer though, as it's only the Rear that is technically the 'family section'.

  6. I remember during 9NIAR we had some great times - but there were times when I actually felt we needed a bit more competition to give more edge to games.  Back in these days we were turning up knowing we would win and stick a few goals past the opposition.  That was fine - but we lacked true competition at times.

Now we have tough tests on our hands and there is more edge.  I like it and I think it's good for everyone to be on their toes for every game, no matter the opposition.  Unlike back in the day, NO game is foregone conclusion for us.

Let's face this head on and get stuck into every c.unt who stands in our way.

Hopefully bf1 isnt going to be turned into safe standing as it means the ub would have to then stay their. The atmosphere goes right out the stadium through the gates, they need out of that section , they deserve better, only people that actually sing at ibrox consistently and as people have said , sad days when the broomloand is becoming the new Rangers end as the copland is dead.

The corner between the govan and the copland , or copland front is what is needed for the ub to grow.

    This, all day long.

My fear is that you could just see Robertson and co going for the easy option and just converting BF1 into a 'standing section'.  That  would be a dreadful outcome because, as you say, the noise the create is to be massively commended, but it does leak out the stadium very easily due to its shite location.

We could really annoy our fan base and put in both the Copland and Broomloan Front. 😂

Personally, that would absolutely be my preference/ideal scenario.  BF and CF safe standing and have a 'Curva' section at each end.

I'd f.ucking love that - and that would be the proper way to do it IMO, if we are to really embrace genuine fan culture and make Ibrox a stadium with real atmosphere on a regular basis.

BTW chaps - how do you 'like' a post on here ?? Doesn't seem to give me the option ?? I've not got enough posts yet or something ?? Just wondering.

  9. Voted yes.

Copland should be where it us but we would have the "it's ma seat and i'm no moving" stuff - and Robertson doesn't have the balls for that fight.

It's a  shame that the Copland has lost all credibility as the home end.

Either way, safe standing simply HAS  to happen at Ibrox.  The sooner the better.

With Scottish football it comes down to the viewing figures they ge for us and them. A choice between us at Hamilton with a 4000 attendance or a full house v hibs at ibrox and they automatically are losing 46000 to the viewing figures.

Fair point on the numbers mate.  But just think of the number of big live home games the likes of Man Utd and Liverpool have. In fact all big clubs around Europe for that matter. I think the tv companies can take the hit.

The simple fact that they haven't shown the figures screams SHITE DEAL!!

    100% mate.

They'd be shouting from the rooftops if it was a genuinely good deal.  They are embarrassed to mention the figures as they will fall way short of most leagues in Europe and be a laughing stock - again.

The arseholes 'running' the game have done NOTHING to improve things within the set up in Scotland to, in turn, command a proper deal. This is their 'reward'.  Quite frankly they didn't deserve a proper deal.  You get back what you put in - they have put in f.uck all.

Other leagues have innovated, showed ambition, liaised with fans and looked to bring in dynamic people to their set ups. None of this has happened in Scotland.  None of it.

Scottish football - still stuck in the doldrums and absolutely no sign of coming out of them.

    Specatacle yes

But to the lifeblood of fans who go to the games, as ticket sales is wortg more to us than tv money,  id rather a 3 oclock kick off on a Saturday afternoon than it being in sky.

Plus most who dont go to away games but attened all home games have a chance to see us live on sky.

Yep - there are arguments for both sides mate. I think it's just a reality that ko times will be moved around.

But in all honesty, if a Rangers v Hivs game was Saturday 12.30ko, for example,  I personally don't think that's a significant difference to it being a 15:00 ko.  You're only talking 2.5 hours difference.

As someone who travels up from the south of England for most home games and also to as many away games as I can, I am used to chopping and changing my plans.  It's part and parcel of the modern day world. In reality there is very little we can do to stop this.

The home game then wouldn’t be an early kick off and likely a Saturday at three

I do get that mate - and it's a fair point. And I understand we all like a 3pm Saturday ko etc.  But I just feel that some games warrant being on tv more than others - particularity if we are trying to get the most out of positive coverage in order to attract more money into the game.

My main concern is Rangers obviously, but the whole game in Scotland needs a kick up the arse to get it out of the stagnant state that it's in. If that means tweaking some live games that maybe wouldn't have happened in the past then I think that's a move worth taking from time to time.
