Sitting on the match day thread typing "this is the worst performance in the history of the club", 10 minutes in because it's 0-0.

Morelos and Roofe  need to start delivering.

Yeah, I could get past getting beat tonight pretty easily if the performances so far this season had been good, but they haven’t been.
Going into a game against Lyon you would take a draw, but the thing that irks me is I don’t think they were particularly impressive tonight and had we not been complete shite we could have taken something from that.

    Mark Hateley, October 1st, 1994 v Dundee Utd (2-0)
Laudrup then scored a worldie in front of where I was sitting in Broomloan. Been my favourite ever player since.

I found the 'dignified apology' comment a bit unnecessary.  If a Conservative politician had called a girl 'a black horse' and then apologized I doubt anyone would be commending the dignity of the apology.
I get that there's always gonna be political point scoring but the sanctimonious moral high-grounding turns the stomach. It was the same when Frankie Boyle started having a go at Gervais on trans people, after slaughtering disabled and/or missing weans for a laugh during his career, its' like don't get ahead of yourself...

I think Sturgeon is a little too concerned with making excuses for Godley in the interview. Effectively defends her by the 'she's a comedian that's taken a misstep' line and the charity bit. Wants to lessen the impact obviously, because it's one of hers involved and because it reflects badly on herself. If it were one of us or a Tory the tone would be unrecognisable.
    Such is life these days.
