McCausland might not be the finished article but least he gives us natural balance and pace on that side. Since Clement came in, he has simplified our way of playing and played players in their best positions (sterling left wing the obvious exception). Would like to avoid us going back to square pegs in round holes scenario. Would keep Cantwell central and Silva as number 9. -
The big man tires me out just watching him so the centre halfs must have been knackered.

I've had my season ticket for 5 years - atmosphere was as good as any domestic game I've been to. -

True but they are hardly blessed with great goalkeepers so seems daft to not even get a keeper of his talent in for a friendly and a look even if he plays in a weaker league.

If goes to a relatively poor Nottingham Forest team he won't be set up for success to get into the Euros. They will lose far more than they win, and even risk a drubbing or two no matter how good he is. Compare that to the prospect of trophies, showing how good he is on the European stage, perhaps being Player of the Year, and the main man at a huge club. Not worth risking that to go back over the ground of a mediocre English team again. Would be surprised if he did.

I sat in the Broomloan Rear my first ever game at Ibrox and watched him score this goal. Been my favourite player ever since. -
Did as well as every single person that had watched him over the last few years said he would. Only Beale thought differently. Probably because he saw him score a worldy once playing for PSV under 12s.

Agreed. Think he has shown real bravery to drive forward on the ball, and a lot of nice touches. Have to stick with him now -

Won a header and maybe two corners so that makes him the most talented striker we have at the club IMO. -
Knowing our luck, we might have picked up another in jury tonight in those conditions. It is what it is. Onwards we march. We are the form team in the league and now have extra time to prepare for our biggest game of the season so far. The job remains the same: win at their midden and we're in a fantastic position.

Expect it will be an ugly ground out win, and I'd be happy with that. All about maximum points going into the 30th. -
Welcome to Rangers, Philippe Clement!

I honestly can't believe how well he has done with this group of players. Fucking miles above Beale. -
Rather than spend 4 or 5 million on these types of players, the bigger question is why our scouting system seems unable to find them (or players of that quality and potential) when they are available for much cheaper.

Some laugh after signing Raskin, Dowell, Cifuentes that we still need a new midfield. And after signing Dessers, Lammers, Danilo we still need a striker. And after signing Ridvan we still need a new left back. And after Souttar, Davies and Balogun we still need a CB.- 1,480 replies

Thing that gives me hope is the confidence I have in our manager. He's been getting a tune out a bunch of duds.

You can tell what's coming in the first 10, 15 minutes of these games. The nerves and hesitation written all over the faces of our key players.
-
I doubt there will be any ex playing football pundit in the world who has played as few competitive matches as Michael Stewart has in his career.

Signing him and the wee number 10 up front for France should be our January transfer window priorities IMO

From terrorising Dortmund in Europa knock outs to battling it out in a relegation dogfight with Rotherham and Huddersfiled in space of a few year. Players would be best place to seize the opportunity they have at our club.
