  1. Someone who has a fixed idea of how they want their team to play and looks to buy players that fit that style of play would be a good fucking starting point. A tall ask, I know.
  2. Has a bizarre mix of overestimating his own ability when things go well and looking completely clueless and out his depth when things start to go wrong. Remember when he got interviewed and he said 'theres no way we would have lost the league if we had stayed' while Gio was in charge?. I think he believed 'the 55 season' (getting tired of writing that) was all down to his tactical genius and he doesnt have the savvy to realise that a number of stars aligned that season, including our main opponents imploding. Unless we act now we are going to watch some really painful interviews with him as he continues to realise he is nowhere near as good as he thought he was.
  3. You could nip out the stadium and grab a pint in the Loudon and come back in the time it would take him to make 20 yards.
  4. Aye it was chronic. And pretty much everyone that watched him the last few years warned us it was coming.
  5. 3.5 Million substitute Sam Lammers firing a shot right off 6 Million pound substitute Danilo's arse was a perfect representation of how ridiculous our transfer rebuild 'strategy' has been under Beale. Just buying a productive pacey winger that could score, assist and beat a man, and sticking with one top drawer striker to replace Morelos obviously wasn't complicated enough. We needed to take guys that have goal scoring records like centre backs and get them to run into each other.
  6. Have lost all confidence in him. Had all summer to invest transfer fees in players to fit a specific style and way of playing. Clearly had no idea really how they would all fit in and got carried away with some strikers that were avialable. We now have millions on the bench every week and are still lacking in key areas. Overthinks based on the opposition. Crazy decisions like leaving Cantwell out because 'killie away doesnt suit him', and just lumping it to Dessers today to hit their CBs rather than have a way of playing on our own that we shld have been working on all through pre-season. Talking about needing to fix 'both boxes' and not signing a new centre half. Not signing any wingers in the summer, then playing Matondo in our two biggest games, and also saying 'we are missing a Ryan Kent' type when we had all summer to address that Bizarre reference to fans 'getting sick of the same faces' as a reason for the team to need investment Inability to react and change the game and just sticking to arbitary 60 minute substitutes. Finding a system that seemed to work ok end of last season (Cantwell attacking in the centre with pacey forwards on the side) then completely abandoning that for this season. Bizarrely avoiding having someone pressing their captain all game when everyone can see thats how to get joy against the, far too many mistakes for a manager of a club our size. When we finally get a fucking proper manager in charge we all quickly see the difference, rather than gambling again on the most important position at the club.
  7. A couple of years retired and this guy started to look like Harvey Weinstein
  8. Dont know if its the sound but expected a better atmosphere as Tynecastle can be decent
  9. Feel for the guy and hope he still gets a career out of football if he can get his health right. Can be a cruel game and it is a tough time mentally for those unlucky ones
  10. He's unreal and so different in films. Can make a solid case he's the best actor of his era. The banner has sparked a decent conversation about films on RM so has been a success IMO
  11. Yeah, loved how relaxed and confident Butland sounded after the PSV game as well. Not sure if him and Cantwell are amazing at media or whether we've just been hit with pish from the others for so long
  12. They remind me of some of the top players we used to buy back in the 90/00s. Rather than be afraid of the shirt and crowd they are desperate to get out there and show us how good they are. Early days for both but for me, they embody the mentality you need and what it means to be a Rangers player.
  13. Big Lebowski would provide some light relief after a few of them! Great films to be fair.
  14. The thing I hate about this stuff is how everyone falls over themselves to talk about how offended they are, when deep down they're not really impacted or affected by it at all. They would hardly give it a moments thought in reality, never mind get hurt or upset. I'm the same when its done the other way round, couldnt care less tbh. Its all the morale posturing online with everyone falling over themselves to take the high horse and show how morally virtuous they are. I actually laughed in the stadium when I seen it, and knew what it was about. Aye it was a bit daft but it was a windup - I'd rather a joke these days about that stuff anyway. I think football needs to calm down a little trying to be some form of moral spokesperson (just feels a bit token when its too much), its about winning and tribalism against your rivals, and that's what makes it.
  15. Fair play to him - looks really dangerous going forward. I thought that volley was going into the top bin Jonas Thern style at the end.
  16. Ended well when folk called Valencia the Spanish Aberdeen years ago! Anyway, lets do this Rangers. Put this arrogant mob in their place.
  17. love it mate - saw them having a laugh during the warm up on Satruday as well. The great Rangers teams in my life were built on strong relationships. Long may it continue, and do the business on the park.
  18. I have concerns about the general strategy/formation and suitability for players we've invested in to play that. But I'm convinced we have some really good players, and have the potential to win what we need.
  19. aye, agree. im praising him because he's been a target, and ok he made some msitakes but still had an assist and drove on well early
  20. I've been super critical, but Borna deserves credit. He's been written off but he's done well - hope he can continue his form, but lets give him credit.
  21. He's a class act. His touch, ability to get away from a man in tight areas, eye for a pass, pressing, and runs into the box are superb. Honestly, he's our best player.
