  1. Arsene isn't getting any younger wonder how many years he will have left and who could replace him.
  2. Arsenal area a more interesting topic of conversation at the moment - probably because their flying start to the season and how they are going to get through the tricky fixtures they're up against and on the back of 2 defeats. Chelsea are pretty predictably good so its not that interesting
  3. Looking good just now anyway - hope they don't win but they have so much strength in depth. Think Mata should leave if he doesn't get regular first team football its horrible seeing him go to waste! Could fit in amazingly at Arsenal, and Utd obviously
  4. Hope Ribery or Muller win player and Klopp wins coach.
  5. Its good to see him doing well after the lows he sank to a couple seasons ago - think he will be pushing 30 in all competitions this year
  6. Im sure the bookies he bet with will compensate him on these grounds
  7. Cech was at fault for Agueros goal - its as if he chose not to save it. City were probably the better team today
  8. i don't think the goal was his fault
  9. Pish game so far - Aguero has fairly bulked up in past couple years
  10. You always show up just at the right time don't you?
  11. Excuse my ignorance but where is Bale for Madrid? Can't be bothered doing my own research atm
  12. players are more than capable of putting their laces through it and finding the top corner - more often than not this sort of effort goes off target but once in a while they go in - i find goals like this to be great at the time but what makes a goal great often depends on the situation of the game before hand and the event it was scored in. This is why Maradonnas v England is considered as the greatest of all time by many and screamers like this are scored and then forgotten in a few weeks
  13. I think Mourinho wanted the job but wasn't asked - his entire "special one " complex would go against SAF's main rule that no one is bigger than the club. I dare say Guardiaola would have at least considered taking the job had it been offered to him. Klopp was a name i would have also suggested, he seems loyal to Dortmund but the job to succeed Alex Ferguson was definitely one of the biggest in football so you couldn't see many managers turning it down. i was disappointed when Moyes was announced and have yet to have reason to be optimistic, i don't even think he would have been the best available manager from the premiership but perhaps its written in the stars for him to have a dodgy start..
