J_RFC87 Posted February 22, 2009 Posted February 22, 2009 It's going to be worth tuning into that game on Tuesday purely on the basis of seeing their defence!

Blue Stars Bearette Posted February 22, 2009 Author Posted February 22, 2009 What defenders are all out? http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/t...utd/7904057.stm Centre-back Jonny Evans limped out of the 2-1 win on Saturday and is unlikely to play against Inter on Tuesday. The champions are already without Gary Neville and Wes Brown through injury, while Nemanja Vidic is banned and John O'Shea hopes to overcome a sore heel. "It's a nightmare - somewhere I have to find two centre-backs," said Ferguson. "It is looking very doubtful because Jonny is unlikely to play now," added Ferguson. If O'Shea does not recover Ferguson could be forced to field reserve team rookie James Chester or play one of his more experienced players out of position for the opening leg of the first knockout round at the San Siro. Jose Mourinho's in-form side extended their lead at the top of Serie A to 12 points on Saturday courtesy of a 2-1 win over Bologna
