biotechnology
glad to see you didnt listen to me..i have a big dark cloud over my head..i aint too lucky. save your dosh and leave this mugs game to us idiots Unless your very lucky & unearth a cheap champion-which everyone is looking for (Oregon Trail 2 Mile CHampion Chaser was bought out a field 4 miles from me), you will never make money from Horse Racing. If you club together you can dilute your losses & have a great hobby.
numansnewman
you have to be very lucky to win anything. i had a couple of shares in farington lodge last year,it got placed a couple of times and i think it one once,my outlay was around £700 and i got back around £120 in prizemoney..i did get a few quid in bets, and you had a better idea adout other horse in that particular stable. the point is,you can have a great day at the races, talk to trainers, jockeys and other owners..i met mc cain, trevor hemmings and various jocks. you can also get stable visits and days out,you also get the excitement of watching your own horse...you could do worse things with your money, but dont go in it to make any

TunnyLoyal
There's 1 i fancy called 'Billy one punch', 1 share costs £161. There is also one called 'Mrs Burke' which made me laugh. What is a good age to buy a share, they most look about 6yo, is that old for a race horse? I was hoping to see a bit younger, maybe 3yo. (please no paedo jokes )

numansnewman
dont think so,but see if any feedback comes back..as for the share period each one is different to a degree..as it depends on flat or jumps..plus if your horse is going to be out for a longish time, your particular racehorse manager will offer you deal in another at no extra cost..check the ownaracehorse website.
