In general I know most of the youths pretty well, but I was browsing Rangers-2014 in FM earlier and this young Swede/Turk(?) appeared to my attention. I've not heard him mentioned much as I suppose he's pretty young, but for us to have a non-domestic player it means he was signed from somewhere else purposely.

Who's got the lowdown on his potential?

We signed him from BK Hacken in Sweden (the club that reared Kim Kallstrom) on a 4 year deal (i think). I've only seen him a few times but he's a good finisher and has a lot, and i mean a lot, of flair in his locker. The downside is that he's so, so lazy.

I'm sure Elfideldo could give you a better account of him if you dropped him a PM.

Oh well, Ibrahimovic is a slacker too and we'd probably take him.

Found this in the deleted bit of wiki:

Isa Bagci (born March 30 1990 in Gothenburg) is a Swedish-born Turkish footballer currently playing for Scottish Premier League club Rangers.

He signed for Rangers on August 31, 2007 on a three-year deal from Swedish club BK Hacken. He plays as a striker.[1]

He has always played in BK Häcken and lives in Hisingen Biskopsgården. He has also trained with Inter Milan and Villarreal.

In early 2008 he was involved with the Turkish U18 team in the Valentin Granatkin Tournament.

Awesome.

IMO, a partnership of Berbatov and Ibrahimovic is not what we're looking for.

Is this the guy who was an asylum seeker?

Nah, that's Lacine Cherif you're thinking of. He's now at Kilmarnock.

Wee Cherif is a great lad, hearing a young boy from the Cote D'Ivoire speaking with a Scottish accent is brilliant.

Disappointed it didn't work out for him with us, hopefully he can still carve out something of a career elsewhere. (tu)

If not, he should take up boxing or MMA, he's an absolute shithouse.
