TexasGers
Celtic have begun talks with Red Bull Salzberg's Marc Janko and Egyptian midfielder Shikabala in a bid to land the duo in a £6m summer swoop. (Daily Express, Daily Star) I've never heard of Shikabala, but Marc Janko is a good player...one that will probably cost alot more than 6 million...I doubt this has any truth to it. TexasGers
And from Janko's wikipedia page, "On February 25th 2009 Janko's agent said that he expected a new offer to come in from celtic in the summer, he also stated his client was impressed with how professional celtic were in their negotiations." ManchestGer
Every year Celtic get linked with big money transfers that never pan out. Who was it last year? I'm pretty sure Darren Bent and Pavluychenko were two of them and they were linked with £6m moves or so even though other clubs were easily gonna offer more. TMWWBK
Blackburn were already put off after Salzburg quoted them £6M +. I wouldn't be surprised if Celtic's total dealings in the summer came to around £6M net.
mark_ni
they would be lucky to get Janko for £6m, they will never get both for £6m. He'll go to the premiership
TMWWBK
He's became so overrated recently in any case. He's a bloody good player but the hype surrounding him has got out of hand. He'll go to the EPL and become another Afonso Alves.
Boab
Very good player, read about him in a recent World Soccer.
Thermopylae
TBH septic have signed so many duds that it hardly seems worthwhile bothering about anyone they buy because if they aren't already rubbish before they come to the club wee gordon will soon make them that way
Muff
Janko is a good player, nothing more, nothing less. I reckon he'd struggle in a big league. It's a big step moving from the Austrian leagues. celtc couldn't afford him anyway. I see they are also linked with Laszlo Bodnar and Malaga's, Eliseu. Not much chance of getting them either. If we win the league then there will be little movement at celtc in the summer.

Muff
He'd score goals in the SPL with ease but celtc could never afford him, especially with Red Bull looking like reaching the Champions League.

Blackburn gave up coz they were being quoted silly sums and he recently signed a new deal in January i believe . so it WONT happen.
Craigy
I don't believe any of it. As soon as we go top of the league they are being linked with a £5m move for Janko? Hmmm.
