fergie86
Can anyone think of a midfield better that Advocaat's - Van Bronkhorst, Albertz, Ferguson, Reyna combination? I think our midfield now is possibly the strongest since then but the afore mentioned was the dogs b*llocks!!

However Fergy played better than normal against Killie, if he can keep that up, I really don't know who should play unless we go 4-5-1.

McGregor Broadfoot Bougherra Weir Papac Thomson Davis Ferguson Mendes Fleck/Aaron Lafferty Basically the team that played at the Santiago BrendanBaeu but with Thomson in for McCulloch. would we score enough goals? I think our midfield now is possibly the strongest since then but the afore mentioned was the dogs b*llocks!! Brilliant midfield, but don't forget we actually played proper full backs then also. Two attacking full backs or at least one on the right would bring a massive benefit to our team, but you can never have too many strikers or midfielders according to WS. I like the midfield here but I wouldn't want Fleck playing as a winger on a permanent basis as its not his best position. I'd also be worried about playing Lafferty up front on his own all the time, I think he'll be a good player for us but I'd rather have someone play just behind him ie. Fleck.
