BooghyBear
Which players plying their trade for other SPL teams do you think would do a job for us? My picks would be Fletcher (Hibs) Driver, Kingston (Hearts) McArthur, McCarthey (Hamilton) Wilkie, Robertson, Sandaza (Dundee Utd) Miller, Severin, Diamond (Aberdeen) Any others? gordov
I'd also go with McCarthy and Driver, but Diamond.....you've got to be taking the piss. I'd also throw Mulgrew into the mix. Tall left back with good pace and a great left foot.
ScotBear
None of them for me. Steven Fletcher might be capable of doing a job for us, although wouldn't be a starter. But he's over-rated in my view and his price has now gone up too high to make any bid worthwhile.
martin93
Only Kingston.
Amac9
None but if I had to pick one it would be Laryea Kingston
Davey_RFC
Wilkie Out of all of those you mentioned, only Driver would improve our squad.
BooghyBear
Wilkie Out of all of those you mentioned, only Driver would improve our squad. He's a better option if injury strikes than putting Lee McCulloch in central defence.
mccoist355
None but if I had to pick one it would be Laryea Kingston Kingston can be unplayable on his day - too unreliable for a team like Rangers that cant afford inconsistency
awmbear
Kingston from Hearts and Gomis from Dundee Utd.
Muff
There is only one player in the whole of the SPL that I'd take and that would be Morgaro Gomis from Dundee United. I'd maybe bring in Scott Robertson aswell as he's a good player who's capable of playing on the right and in the centre. The rest don't impress me at all! papaguy51
Fletcher He'd fit in brilliantly in the Scottish National Amputee side as it appears that he's only got a left foot. Show him onto his right and he's the thick end of useless.
chris_glasgow
Mulgrew maybe maybe at LB, hits a cracking free kick and corner although his defensive side is suspect proably none

BlueSuedeSambas
I wouldn't touch either of them with a barge pole, but I have a sneaking suspicion that we will sign either Severin or Foster from Aberdeen in the Summer. Severin is out of contract and could replace Dailly as a backup centre half or midfielder, while Foster can play in both full back positions and on either wing too. They are exactly the type of players that Walter loves.
Muff
I think we'll see Scott Severin or Lee Miller in the summer. Cheap, Scottish, SPL experienced pish.

TMWWBK
Lee Miller is a far better striker than both Boyd and Miller, imo.
BlueSuedeSambas
Lee Miller is a far better striker than both Boyd and Miller, imo. While I'd rather we looked furthur afield for players I'm really supsired that we spent as much as we did on Lafferty when we could have picked him up for free. What worries me is that Foster had a fall out with Calderwood and looks certain to leave the sheep, making it likely our 'scouting system' will have alerted Walter to his availability. Both him and Severin fit nicely into our signing policy, in that they have played against us before. So completely uninspiring.

You're begging this to be turned into another Boyd thread saying things like that! I think Driver would be a decent squad player to add, although there are probably better and cheaper alternatives if we looked outside the UK.
