Re-arranged SPL games

Why is our game against Paisley Celtic taking so long to get a date when the Mhanks have arranged theirs against Falkirk for Wed 8th April.

We don't want to potentially go behind them at any point even with a game in hand as we know what happened last year.

Any possible reasons?

Peter Liewell and the SPL are trying to arrange a date for us as we speak.

We should play St. Mirren on the same night or even better, Wednesday 18th March. There are shitty international matches coming up on the 28th March and 1st April awell.

I agree Muff but if it was going to be the 18th March i think we would know by now.As Fishtank says that could be Scottish Cup replays.

Oh well, I guess it will be after the 8th April then.

what would happen if st mirren were going for top 6 would it have to be played before split or are we just gonna go mad like last year and play our last 5 games in the 1 week

I'd be very suprised if Hamilton and St. Mirren are in the Scottish Cup come 5pm on Sunday 8th March, this should allow us to play on Wednesday 18th March.

i hope your wrong muff but if they both are out we should make it priority to play this game asap

celtc will take care of St. Mirren no problem.

I think it would be a good date to play it, if possible? Just after a Cup Final aswell and the chance to go three points ahead and put pressure on the tims.

Same night as the tims play. Quite glad at that, there were not really any other dates before that, unless Falkirk were knocked out the cup and we won on Sunday and we could have played it on the 18th March.

RANGERS will visit St Mirren's new ground at Greenhill Road in Paisley for the first time on Wednesday 8 April.

They had been due to go there next weekend but the game was cancelled because of the Old Firm final with Celtic in the League Cup at Hampden.

Now the SPL match with the Buddies has been rearranged for the new date and will kick off at 7.45pm, with Setanta Sports showing it live.
