nvager
After Weir's initial header up in the air I thought he was looking for help from McGregor?
Andy
does it matter tbh . We should be 2/3 goals up by the time the 93rd minute comes by.
NathanRfc
I heard Mcgregor shout for the ball when it first came in so really big Davie should be leaving it.
disgruntled_bear
After Weir's initial header up in the air I thought he was looking for help from McGregor? TBH if Mcgregor had come out he was getting red carded. Weir got caught out no doubt, he'll hold his hand up for his mistake.
delparlane
The end result was coming all game long, sad to say. Just one of those games.

alstone
i was listening to it on bbc scotland on my sky so i didnt just get the rangers game so there were a few other games on too - when i heard billy dodds scream penalty i just assumed it was for Rangers, and was in mid jump for joy when he said "Weirs gonna get sent off i dont believe it" it was horrible The general perception of the game was that Rangers played alright but nothing went right for them - when these nights happen the heads go down and more and more mistakes are made and from what i hear the crowd never really got behind them. A bit of optimism wouldnt go a miss ever, a couple wins under the belt will change the tone
BLUENIZ
Totally. Macgregor was just as much to blame. Hes been reluctant to come and claim balls all season. But we got what we deserved from the game, he haw. I'm actually in shock at how poor we played.
NOLUWDC
Weir stopped because he thought McGregor was coming out and then McGregor ran back and Davie had to pull the player down.
Stuart_RFC
The fact we got ourselves into that situation was bad enough, and the way we dealt with it sums it up. Pathetic.
NathanRfc
No Surrender was ringing full volume round the place with 5 minutes to go, If that doesnt spur them up nothing will. and no wonder we were all getting restless there was absolutley fuck all creativity. After 10 minutes of the game you could tell Rangers wouldnt score.

A bit of optimism wouldnt go a miss ever, a couple wins under the belt will change the tone Don't want to sound like a prick, but that might have been the worst I've ever seen us play. If we'd played 'alright' I could have lived with it, but we were just horrific. There were numerous points where the crowd got behind the team, but it achieved absolutely fuck all. Any sense of optimism has gone after tonight.

feda16
Just seen the highlights and imo in regards to the pen it was weirs fault, his positioning was wrong for the type of header he was playing and also his awareness was poor, given he headed it so high mcgregor could have had been challenged by the advancing caley forward. but backward is the new forwards at ibrox
docspiderman
Weir totally and solely at fault. He was hesitant all through the game and his basic error cost us a point.
TannochsideBear
I sit in the Copland Rear and I could tell McGregor called for it. Weir was solely to blame, and has been an accident waiting to happen all season long. Too many times his CH partner has had to bale him out, or the forward has missed the chance presented to them by his mistake (Mcdonald's header in the 0-0 game for example) Last night Bougherra played in their half for the last 5 minutes so he was left on his own with nobody to help him, and we paid the price for that. J-Maestro
Would you leave the ball for McGregor considering how excellent he has been taking crosses. Weir pulling the man down did what any defender would do at that stage in the game. Think people forget how good Weir has been all season for us. MarkyMitch
I heard Mcgregor shout for the ball when it first came in so really big Davie should be leaving it. I was sitting right behind the goal, 4 rows from the front and to be honest I didn't hear McGregor shout. I thought McGregor was slow coming off his line after Weir's header went up in the air! A defender wouldn't pull down a player in the last minute when they are about to score?
TannochsideBear
McGregor has been suspect at high balls I agree, but there is no defence for the pathetic way Weir tried to clear either the original effort, or the follow-up. And then to foul the guy, concede a penalty and get sent off, wherein miss another important game in the run-in, is indefensible. I would suggest that Weir has been decent, not excellant, and has been helped by partners in both Cuellar and Bougherra that have outshone him every week.
