Butcher's a wanker !

Recommended Posts

It's almost became fashionable to give ex-players a hard time now.As well as Butcher,Big DJ,Hateley and Jardine to name a few, they have received stick- some of it justified.

Me,i prefer to remember the service they gave us with great distinction in their playing days.If only we had some of these 'wankers' right now.

you are correct, at least they guys gave everything for our club and hated getting beat, not like this lot of imposters who are playing at the moment.

Also, putting it like that i agree. You have to remember big Butcher couldn't have gave a feck about Rangers before he signed so Rangers were only a part of his life for a relatively short period of time-not lifetime bears like us so he won't fully know how we tick.

As far as the book goes who knows if he was trying to be controversial as that sells or he was trying to make out he was above all the 'sectarianism'etc but i don't think anyone could deny he is a Rangers fan overall.

A think his celebrations on Helicopter Sunday proved your last point.

As you say BD each to their own-i think the fact we lost on Wednesday was down to us,not Terry Butcher.Remember,Inverness also took 2 points off the scum in his first game in charge.

I don;t see it as paying them back. He is the manager of ICT and has to do everything he can to make them win. It isn't about pay back, it is about doing his job.

I loved Terry Butcher(in a manly way) when he played for the Club. I along with many others took the long journey to Bridge of Allen on a few occasions to support the guy when he was running his hotel.

Butcher payed us back by implying we were bigots. That along with the slur on a man who couldn't answer back put me off Butcher for life.

I have no problem with the man talking up his team or making comments like the penalty one when they have beaten us or any other team, but for me for his comments in his book, Butcher is and always will be a wanker.

I just hope to feck that when Smith leaves Butcher doesn't replace him.

I don't think the result was anything to do with butcher or his team ... we should be pulverising teams like that at Ibrox with 11 games to go in the championship

You'r right. As much as it hurts to say it the better team won. :(

They showed enthusiasm and drive. Only Bougherra did that for us.

I have heard from a lot of sources that Jardine has little time for the ordinary bear and his attitude stinks. This has came from lifetime bears and although i have had no direct dealings with him there are a good few different sources for them all to be wrong.Great player all the same.

True, it was our own fault we lost on Wednesday and not Butchers. It's our own players/management we should be questioning. If we had played half our potential we would have got a result
