Boab
CLYDE could fold within three months after a fall in attendances and drop in sponsorship revenue has almost pushed the Broadwood side to the brink. In the face of rising costs, Clyde have been forced to hike their ticket prices from £15 to £17, and are encouraging season tickets to pay at the gate. Chairman Ian Letham said: "These are very difficult times and Clyde have not been spared. The club face a budget deficit this year which must be addressed in the next three months. "We urgently need to raise a substantial amount between now and the end of the season. A fall in revenue through reduced crowds and lost sponsorship, combined with rising costs, has put a tight budget under extreme pressure. "It is important everyone with Clyde at their heart is aware of that." http://www.eveningtimes.co.uk/sport/displa...2493866.0.0.php
Dado
If they charged less than £15 to start with they might have got a bit more revenue. Thats a shocking price for the value of football you get, ive been to see Clyde a few times and you get more entertainment at a Junior game. J_RFC87
Imagine paying £17 to see that level of football.
Juno
Paid 12 quid to see Alloa on Tuesday there and the shocking was worse than I even remember from 8/9 years ago. How do they expect to pull crowds at that price when even SPL clubs are struggling with it? Hamilton had the right idea on wednesday; fiver to get in. No wonder they got a decent crowd.
