Just finshed reading one of the best Football books I've ever read

Its in depth but also very understandable with good diagrams - albeit I'd liked to have some more - and brilliantly researched.

Many things described from Chapman's new ideas in England, the development/origin of the 4-4-2, Cattenacio, the 3-5-2, Total Football and touches on the 4-2-3-1 and also it goes in 2 or 3 pages near the end of the book on how the striker is a more complete species these days - reminding me why I've never went full welly on my support of Kris Boyd.

I'd thoroughly recommend the book for those wishing to learn about the best and most popular world sport in the world and the Football connoisseur alike.
