U19's result - Rangers 2-3 Hibernian

Recommended Posts

The 19's lost 3-2 to Hibs at Murray Park today but should have had at least a point.

We were 2 down at the break and came out blazing at the start of the 2nd half but Hibs got a 3rd on the counter attack. Kal Naismith pulled one back with a pen and Archie Campbell got another before Naismith blazed a last minute pen over the bar which lost us top spot. The first half was shocking and many players failed to turn up. Billy Kirwood definately started with the 11 but rectified that in the 2nd half.

Danny Wilson was again outstanding as was Jamie Ness but poor performances from Darren Cole, Stephen Stirling and Kane Hemmings along with inconsistency from certain players cost us in the end. We still have a very young team and can be proud of where we are but being 4 points clear and now trailing by 2 is a bitter pill to swallow. Hopefully the game against Celtic next Sat will give us a good chance to get back to winning ways.
