england and sport

they bid for the olympics at a low price, paid for by the taxpayers in general.

this means the infrastructure of london is something we will all pay for,but most of us will never see.

now, within 18 days they can host a mega cricket tournament, before their season has even started.

this rakes in 70 million..will scottish,welsh or n.irelish sport see a penny ?

political english brainwashing

oh,and by the way..andrew murray..british when he wins, scottish when he loses..was it ever so ?

Partially agree about the Olympics, but they're not favourites for the IPL, South Africa are. England have county grounds built and suitable for purpose for it already anyway so wouldn't involve tax payers money. Plus Wales will see benefits from it (it's the England and Wales cricket board btw), Glamorgan play in the county championship and Cardiff is getting upgraded in time for the first Ashes test. Where as cricket is hardly played in Scotland or N Ireland anyway.
