bluesashman 0
IMO he's much better than Alexander, what do you think? BSM.
SuperRangers 2
I hope so there is no point in having one of our main assests gathering dust on the bench, Boozegate has been forgotten about now and this season is a new start for him.
superalan 0
when his head is right then he is best keeper but Alexnder has never done anything wrong and given a run may end up being better

bluesashman 0
Alexander gets my vote. I'd be happy to see McGregor leave. Why? if Maggy left we'd have one goalie and we have no fund to bring anyone in even close to his stanard, that'd be silly BSM.

bluesashman 0
what do you think Muff? BSM.
Muff 245
Why drop Neil Alexander, a keeper who has never put a foot wrong, or let us down? He continues to work away, put in performance, after performance, and never makes the headlines for the wrong reasons - he's a model professional, and should remain Rangers number 1 for years to come (or until he has a number of blunders) I used to think Allan McGregor was the better keeper but my opinion has totally changed. Overall, Neil Alexander is the better keeper. He gives me, and the team more confidence. I will be absolutely disgusted with Walter Smith should he drop Alexander for McGregor. I'll also be pretty dissappointed should McGregor still be at the club come the end of the transfer window. A decent keeper who has the wrong attitude, and life-style to play for a club like Rangers. Don't let the door hit you on the way out!
Frankie 505
This thread posts one of the most interesting questions of the close season IMO... Mainly because if we're not intending to have McGregor as first choice, selling him would raise the kind of funds that would enable us to strengthen at least one position. The fact he hasn't moved already (or at least been linked with a move) means he probably will be first choice this season.
Zappa 358
He's not the sort of person I like to see at our Club. We've got club legends that were worse if you're talking about his drinking etc.
bluesashman 0
IN RELATION TO MUFFS POST: When you put it that way... maybe your right, havn't seen a bad performance from Neil, but i still dont think McGreagor should go.. he may have a done wrong doing, but it was put way out of proportion by the media, and we are doubtful of seeing any new faces never mind letting a good keeper go... unless the price answers the question itself. BSM.

Muff 245
Sell McGregor, bring in some much needed cash, and go out and buy a decent keeper for back-up to Alexander; there are numerous young, and experienced keepers out there who would do a job when asked upon. It's time we weeded the trouble makers out of Ibrox, once and for all. I saw McGregor in the paper a few weeks ago; big beer belly, moobs, drinking beer, and smoking a fag by the poolside. Just not what I want to see at Rangers, and he's at it all the time. Get him away to fuck!
papaguy51 912
Sadly, Greegs looks like another one who will fall into the 'lots of talent and no brains' boat. I'm amazed Fergie last so long with us, come to think of it.....

ShaneRalfRoss 278
Alexender should still be no1 keeper. Hes done nothing wrong to be dropped. When Alexender start makein a number of mistakes then Shagger should become no1 keeper.

DJBLUE72 0
I dont have anything againsty Alexander but McGregor is the better keeper of the 2 Alexander loses goals that McGregor would save , plus his agillity is 2nd to none if McGregor kept his dick in his trousers and stopped being the NOTW jester then he could go on and have a wonderful career for Rangers and if he was to go we would demand a very large fee as in Goalkeeper terms he is still very young and has a lot still to learn. but i will not be suprised if Alexander starts the season as No 1 and McGregor will need to prove his worth to the management.
