Gaz52 11,837
Nancy midfielder Landry N'Guemo expects to complete a season-long loan with Celtic on Monday. Celtic will have an option to buy the Cameroon international, according to details on the French club's website. "I'll be flying to Scotland on Monday to finalise the move," the 23-year-old Cameroon international said. "Celtic are a big club, it's a good move for me, and it will be great to play with Marc-Antoine Fortune again. I'm really looking forward to it." Fortune declined lucrative offers from the English Premier League to sign a three-year deal at Celtic, who paid Nancy about £3.8m for the striker. Nancy declared that N'Guemo had also penned a deal with the Glasgow club, but Celtic boss Tony Mowbray said on Wednesday that that announcement was premature. Now Nancy say the clubs have signed the documents to allow N'Guemo to play at Celtic Park for the next season, adding he will join up with his new team-mates once they return from their brief trip to Australia. The 23-year-old defensive midfielder was wanted by Mowbray at West Brom last season, while Fortune did play the latter half of the season with the Baggies. http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/t...tic/8145839.stm I've never heard of the guy tbh

BillyBoy11 63
If he is such a good player then why would nancy let him go on loan? Doesnt make sense..

Loan with view to a permanent deal i think. Another good signing for them, i've always wishes we could look in the French market a bit more even for cheap options. chris_glasgow 2
he is exactly the type of signing they need. strong in the tackle, dirty player, will run all day just in front of the back four well this is according to Muff whose opinion I trust
FlippinEck 3,510
I thought they had that in Scott Brown? I believe that the signings they have brought in (fortune/nguemo) are direct replacements for JVOH and Hartley, I also believe they are better than them, but they will have to start off the season well

He is generally a midfielder who is looking to go past the strikers and get in the box

I expect Brown to play further up the park next season.
mark_ni 12
they have certainly strengthened their team with Fortune and Nguemo replacing Hartley and JVOH but they still arent a great team and their defence is still poor. They havent replace nakamura yet either. I thought he was way overrated but he was always good for 5-10 goals a season and 10+ assists. Surely if we dont have any money for signing we could get a loan deal or 2 ourselves.
